Why ditch the home button

I was really hoping some of the early rumors about it being a mini variant were true and now I’m sad

One camera was allright till a few years back, now though, poeple expect more than that. Every phone now has more than one camera, so a single lens phone from apple is really gonna struggle to sell this time I think as the compotiotion and used market will look like much better options. An adaptation of the 13 Mini would suit this better in my opinion. Just look how the origional SE sold. A tiny phone, yet it flew off the shelves because it nailed so many things perfectly. Unlike the newer SE's which have just been an excuse for apple to make a cheap phone, instead of a good phone. Apple now seems to think the SE sold well purley because it was an outdated design. Once apple lost Jony Ive, it's clear how much they've been struggeling. Same design language for 7 years. 10 years in the case of the SE. Same software design for 11 years too with only minor improvements. Sure they were good designs at the time, but its starting to look a little dated now. They don't have much longer to keep this up before people simple get bored of it.

Is the K2 Pro more cramped in the main alphanumerical keys? Or is it only more spacious for the separate F-keys and Arrows/Home/End/Del section?
