Hey John, great insight, thank you. Do you have any idea if SF plans to replace the CPQ certification with an RLM cert?
Someone told me that I should check out "Revenue Cloud" as a replacement for Salesforce Industries (formerly Vlocity). I was very confused by "Revenue Cloud" was & what its relationship to RLM was. This cleared things up for me. You should do more "history of Salesforce Product X" videos!
I could've REALLY used this video back when I inherited a monstrous pile of CPQ tech debt as a developer ... so many gold nuggets in here

100% the openness and the sharing is also what I loved and what really differentiated Salesforce from Microsoft or SAP. And some other enterprise software. I thought it's a bit clunky to get started with, but the Trailhead platform and a lot of the sharing in the communities around it, super powerful. I feel you man.

What type of project or tools (to develop) would you recommend someone with experience on CPQ (as a developer) work on to stay fresh if they are now employed on non CPQ projects (such as CRM_A && Einstein)?

Is this design robust to what happens during an amendment scenario where you must take into consideration the exit rate of the previous contract into the ACV calculation? I don't see where that would be accounted for here. This makes perfect sense for brand new licenses though.
ACV calculation should work for amendments and renewals, plus the inclusion of price uplifts on renewals if you choose to implement them. I can do a separate video, diving into those use cases if it would be helpful!

Man, you need to be asking yourself a question all the time: Am I wasting viewers time by running my mouth on random topics to just entertain without any useful information? This video could have been 3x shorter if you would just stick to the topic.
