      Yes sir, it comes in handy. I purchased it new in 2015. It’s a great little machine for getting into the woods and makeshift skidding logs out to a landing or picking small logs up and moving them around & piling up brush.

    A bit of common sense is required for what kind of saw to buy wether a knock off or commercial saw or professional saw. Anything can break but professional saw would give you highest probability of not breaking. I would only buy a professional saw because I’m out in bush miles from anywhere on snow machine and need the saw to work or my day is completely ruined. Time is money so if you will not lose much time buying a cheaper saw it might be right for you.

    • @thebustedwedge1141
      @thebustedwedge1141 9 месяцев назад

      If a person can afford to just outright buy a new “good saw”, then I completely agree. If someone is running short on cash or just doesn’t really need an expensive “good saw”. Then I would recommend thinking about a cheaper alternative. The parts that were replaced were minuscule in comparison to what a name brand saw would be.

    Hi, both are great saws, but I think both are running lean on the high rpm under load (especially the holzfforma) they should 4 stroke without load, and run clean under load - then you'll be able to use their full power. Here's a great video regarding carburetor adjustment: ruclips.net/video/2j9JyA49cv8/видео.html

I did make sure there weren’t any hangers directly above me but that doesn’t mean that I couldn’t of caught one to the noggin after it fell. I shouldn’t put safety to the side for a video I understand that. I have no excuse for it. Thx for the advice and sorry to hear about the loss of your crew member.

    (update) my hults660 with high flow oil pump on a 36" bar has been on my alaska mill for i year now. ive been using 32/1 and 90 oct non/ethanol fuel have not did any adjusting to the carb, changed the plug once. milled 1/2 dozen 80 ft pines into slabs so far, modified my recoil, i removed it, board a hole on center in the cover and start it with a 1 hp drill motor and a socket running off a tailgater generator works beautiful . my furry little paws just cant pull on that beast anymore. if you got an alaska mill put a small harbor freight winch on it with a pully at the aft end of the log, its a game changer!
