TITANIC Wreck Ambiance - 5 HOURS (first pass)

"Here is a gray lady, an elegant lady, the queen of the deep. A sad lady, a silent lady. Are you now asleep? Can we learn from your sorrow to share? Teach us to understand, and certainly to care, but never again will there ever be, a gray lady, and elegant lady, slip unwillingly into the sea." -Roy Cullimore This is my first pass of my ambient dive footage compilation of the wreck of the Titani...
Harry Nilsson's THE POINT (1971) - Alan Thicke Narration - Third Telecast Restoration
Просмотров 333 тыс.3 года назад
In the mid 80's, my parents recorded the third telecast of Harry Nilsson's 'The Point' from TV on VHS. To this day, it is the ONLY recording I've ever found of this supposed lost version of the film. The Point first aired February 2, 1971, and was the first animated special ever to air in prime time on US television. It appeared on the ABC television network as an ABC Movie of the Week. The fil...

'Candy Hearts and Paper Flowers' - PENCIL TEST (Raggedy Ann and Andy: A Musical Adventure)
Просмотров 6 тыс.4 года назад
A rare pencil test of the 'Candy Hearts and Paper Flowers' sequence in Raggedy Ann and Andy: A Musical Adventure, the first feature film by legendary master animator, Richard Williams. The video comes from a low quality source from TheTheifArchive which I cleaned up the best I could so it can be seen a bit better and appreciated by those who love the film and animation. Enjoy.

Endless Night from Disney's The Lion King musical, performed by Stephen Anthony Grey. This was for a fundraiser for a local theatre. Recorded during tech rehearsal. I'm a little flat and tired, but it didn't come off too bad. Hakuna Matata, y'all.

Love. Love. Love. <3
Are you Sleeping? Can you hear me? The Point is poignant to me .... i remember seeing it as an adolescent ... I am 60yrs old now. So cool seeing this, after all these years :D <3
Wow! Me and my Arrow .... <3 Love these Harry Nillsons songs. <3
I am 64 and we watched this on regular Television as Cable and Internet had not come along yet. I was 11 when this came out .
One of the most formative films of my youth. I watched this a countless number of times, and I still love every second of it.
She was but an infant when it sank... a lot of witnesses at big events remember what they think happened. Research has shown how multiple witnesses' accounts of the same event vary significantly. And how accounts over time become 'storified'... made neat and tidy anecdotes.
brilliant insight into what really happened...great lady.
I suppose the audio is better quality, but I like the timbre of the original dad’s voice better!
“One life is worth more than the whole ship” 🫶🏼
Oh, I'm looking forward to watching this! I only ever saw the theatrical / live version of it in some sort of warehouse like building, somewhere in London, sometime in the late 60s or early 1970s, I suppose. It starred the ballet dancer, Wayne Sleep. I don't remember much about it at all, except that I loved it. Experiencing it as part of a live audience with real actors, etc, it felt almost like a communal act of spiritual bonding, at least that's how I remember feeling...
3:35 don't laugh?!? Wtf?!
Amazing I'd never seen this before. The reason the Titanic never had more lifeboats is because it was widely believed to be unsinkable and a full compliment of life boats was thought it be a cost and efficiency burden. The interestiing thing about the Titanic is that it wasn't the first ship of it's size and class to have a major accident. The first one (almost identical) of three boats commissioned crashed head on into a Royal Navy ship and had extensive damage but didn't sink. It was this collision head on which was widely reported in UK newspapers that furthered the whole belief that the Titanic was unsinkable. And it was probably was for head on or rear collisions but not a side-ways hull tear which exposed the water-tight chambers below deck. Another thing about the Titanic which contributed to its sinking was the fire that had started in the coal store before or not long after it set sail which was a raging furnace by the time it sank. That severely weakened the bulk heads and caused the water to fill another of the chambers below deck. If that fire hadn't happened the Titanic may have just listed and survived long enough untiil a rescue ship came due to its unique compartmental design capable of holding tons of water. There's also a storyy that parts were used off the Titanic itself (before it was completed or in service) to fix the first damaged ocean liner in service, but not sure how true that is? If so, that may have compromised the hull structure on Titanic and played a factor.
I couldn’t even imagine the fear and terror being aboard the titanic while it was sinking, the screams, the sound of the ship breaking into, and then silence. That’s terrifying.
Excelente película, ojala alguien la pueda subir en español
First time watching this since I was a little kid. I understood it one way then. I thought I did anyway. Now I see other deeper things. What a masterpiece.

I love to listen to Ms Eva. She had a wonderful memory for details.
"my father had a motor car, which in those days, it was remarkable to have " ....let that sink in😹. I love this woman and what a joy to hear her stories
Wasn't this the lady that was just an infant when the Titanic sank? So how would she even know anything?
She was a kid not an infant. If you saw the whole interview or a bit of it you wouldn't ask.
That would really piss me off if people who wasn’t there was arguing with me about whether or not the ship broke in half. I would be like were you there? I’m telling you that is what happened don’t call me a liar unless you want a slap
Ive had intuition be right 2 times when i didn't listen. I try to listen now.
One of the best interviews and storytelling about the Titanic ever recorded. - Asked mother why didn’t you ask him (her father) what was it, which she certainly didn’t do. - (her mother) I didn’t have to, I knew it was a dreadful thing that I had to live with.
18:44. You can see Eva looking at the Californian (?) ship again… as well as the rockets being fired. Observe her eyes. This woman is trauma surviving steel.
The youngest. Of the elite. My buddy.
Isnt That Bohawks voice?
She is so strong she was only 7 when that incident happend ❤
I have never heard Alan Thicke narrate this story, (but *maybe* Dustin Hoffman ?) I was 13 in 1971, & for me Ringo Starr is the only proper voice to narrate this tale. He already had his "kid cred" from "Yellow Submarine," "Octopus' Garden," and "Good Night." And of course a few years later, he would be the host of "Shining Time Station." Happy 84th B'day, old son !!

Incredible footage even if you get disorientated in some parts , it would be good if a narration identifying the areas would be helpful. What year was this footage taken ?
Hi. The beginning footage was shot by Robert Ballard who discovered her on 01 September 1985...
she brags she only competent survivor of titanic disaster .. guess, that makes her so important
God Bless you Eva. A part of the greatest generation who has seen it all and stood strong. May you rest in peace.. What a magnificent woman.
Would love to see if there’s a video or a recording somewhere of her singing
@Mind Matter; THANK you, for sharing this! I've never heard of this, and though I like Nilsson's music, this is 'brand new' for me (as for Mr Thicke, I've NEVER seen Growing Pains). As with anything Nilsson (Schmilsson😉), it's filled with terrific music, and add to that a well told/animated story, for kids of ALL ages. You put a smile on my face and made my day, and Ithank you
The other point is LSD is a powerful mind altering drug, right Harry?
Maybe you should try it. Maybe then you won't need all your guns
Its crazy the carpathia was able to rescue the survivors in 2 hours! Later the carpathia was sunk by a german u boat
yall making me cry in this comment section fr
Best instrumental for this!
You know, I stumbled on this and I don't know if this is in your agenda, but if you're gonna do "me and my arrow" from harry nilsson in this format, I watched that so many times! New subscriber. So powerful, just burnt into my brain.
The count is a real tyrant. Isn't he?
In an effort to avoid lawsuits White Star sent representatives to hospitals where victims were recovering and tricked them into signing declarations that they wouldn't sue White Star in exchange for 25 pounds. That's obscene.
First saw this when I was 11... around 1972. Some buffoon told me the movie was America's response to Yellow Submarine. (It isn't... and looking for comparisons is odious) I liked the music of it back then, but didn't get all the ideological nuances. Unless I saw the Pointy Man. I thought he was freaky. I was a bit afraid of him, but I ''got the point'' about the character in time. (He was full of points... but was completely pointless!) This film is a classic.
I think eva hart is overdramatic i survived a ship sinking to. A roblox sinking ship simulator much more intense than the real thing :D
Touch some grass
8:36
I think eva is a sad saddie
I had this on VHS also ! Love Harry’s songs!!
19:27 The Carpathia was the only thing that went well that night.
This was one of my father’s favourites, I lost him in January, I’m sitting here in tears watching. Thank you for sharing this ❤️
This was our water back to psychedelics in ‘70’s…thanks for the great memories Harry!
My biological "father" had this on LP book and all
