Glad your safe I'm confused all the videos I've seen everything was under several feet of water and houses disappearing. I'm glad to see where this hotel area was there was part of area not under several feet of water but to have this kind of situation so scary continued prayers for everyone and prayers for everyone who have lost loved ones or continue to look for there loved ones they haven't found yet😢

What’s actually happening in the Asheville area is the karma from stealing the land of the Shiloh community, everyone is witnessing the curse of the Gullah Geechee. The Gullah tribe is now located in St.Helena Sc but they once occupied this section of Asheville as well. A little research would go a long way. Those that know fully understand that the division of that community is happening right before our eyes in real time.

Thanks for this great Video. We in Europe were not aware of the affects of the Hurricane went so far north. It can happen anywhere these days and its time we were more prepped to deal with situations like this. We are all to insulated when everything works (Water, Fuel, Power ,communication) is all at our fingertips. Then something like this happens and we are stranded! Thinking of you all and hope life returns to normal soon.

Today is November 11 I spent Saturday in downtown North Asheville by the Basilica and they still have no water no portable water. They’re running on large black, portable water tanks and a generator.

Only correction I want to make is: Never give to the Red Cross or any other gov organization! Donations will not go to affected areas. FEMA wasted all their money on funding Illegals at the border. none to NC or East TN. One had to apply for aid from their computer to receive any response. How could they, with everything gone and no power to boot??? Disaster Relief Churches and local businesses who have aided the public are the best! Thanks for your report!

Many, many years ago I worked for W Va tax dept. and got sent out to help people after a huge flood. This was 50+ years ago and I remember FEMA sat up different tables to direct people to. Our table helped people file amended state tax returns to go back and claim losses to get some quick money. We would call in info and people at the capital would hand process everything overnight so they could get some funds quickly. I still remember an elderly couple coming and begging that they be placed somewhere together. They were terrified they would be split up for the end of their life. Also people were stuck without medicine, including refrigerated medications like insulin. One couple said they only had a farm to survive with and all the land they had was covered in several inches of silt and would not be functional until all of that was cleared off and they no idea how to start. Watching this brings back all those memories. There were also things stuck in the top of trees. Several months later we went by the area and there was a lady sitting in a chair in the middle of the foundation of what used to be a home. I feel so bad for all these people, it breaks my heart seeing this.

Has anyone notice how many US citizens have go to the area of the hurricane disaster area to help their fellow US citizens? Truckers, driving in supplies. Contractors with their heavy equipment to work in helping their fellow US citizens. Just people helping to clean up. Even the Amish went there to help and were seen building small homes for the homeless. Isn’t it wonderful to see all these US citizens helping their neighbors that needed help. But what you did not see is, NOT ONE IMMAGRANT LIFTED A FINDER TO HELP.
