Dag Ad, het was indd een heel fijne dag voor haar! Over het orgel: ik was zelf eigenlijk ook heel verbaasd over de omvang: maar liefst 3 divisies met élk minimaal een plenum + pedaaldivisie ook met een plenum (vanuit de 16' en zelfs een mixtuur). Het orgel werd in de jaren 50 gebouwd door Verschueren deels met pijpwerk uit oudere orgels. Ze hebben sinds 2017 ook een kleiner koororgel. Neerpelt ligt in het noorden van Belgisch Limburg. 😉 groeten, Parsi

studiologic, but Nord, Viscount and Roland I believe also make good pedalboards. It just depends on what you want to play. If you play Bach, look for a viscount, if you play film music and want to add some extra bass with the feet, but nothing too complicated and wide ranged, studiologics are fine!

Hi, I would like to do that one as well, but for me, it's either the film version or the soundtrack version, but I could work on that some time later :)

that's an organ pedalboard, this one is more designed for electronic organs, but I recently switched to a large one (30 tones) and currently trying to sell this one.

Hi, Thank you! At that time I used the Studiologic mp-117 foot pedals, it's one of the better options in its pricerange (around 500$). They have a range from C1 to E2, which is far less than real church organs, but still a good option if you're on a budget. The main reason to buy this one if you're into pedalling is, besides the budget, the fact that the range begins so low, so it will hardly ever interfere with your manual playing. But if you really want a broad range, I'd recommend Nord pedals or Viscounts. There you need to decide wether you want radial ones, concave pedals... They'll start at C2 and end around D4 a lot of the time, which is inconvenient when you play both pedaliter and manualiter. My solution for that was buying a viscount pedalboard and sending the midi to a roland fa06 that I once bought second-hand, and then sending the FA06 audio into my fantom-08. It works splendidly, the sounds mingle terrifically, because the wavebanks are very similar (not the same though)

Hi thanks for your compliments but I don't use the factory tones from the soundbank of the fantom-0, I use primarily the orchestral wavebank to engineer tones of different registers and then put them together in a scene. So the ones I use since about half a year are not available on any cloud or something, but you can make them yourself. I will be unavailable this week but after I might make a video about how I made them.

Thznks for your compliment, but I'm actuzlly self-taught, and I strongly believe that in this case feeling free to improvise and use your phantasy is the key. I think it's all about allowing yourself to make misstakes until you get the techniques right you want to use and connecting with a sort of flow. Tell me about your organ-playing, I'm actually quite curious about it now!

Hey, thanks man!! personally I like the Fantom-08 overall, I like the fact that's intuitive, you have a very high amount of tone control (this pipe organ sound is engineered with the internal wavebank and tone edit parameters, not a default patch), the sounds appeal to me personally, but I don't want to deny the famous polyphony issues and very scarce disk space, but those are not that problematic for me. About the MODX, I did consider it, I like the sound bank as well (especially the pianos, E-pianos and strings), but I just had a better feeling with the Fantom-0 after comparing the specs. I don't know exactly anymore what shifted the balance, but I do think these workstations, along with the Korg Kronos, AKAI MPC are all very similar in quality but answer to different needs. I feel that the Fantom-0 answers to musicians/producers/composers who like straightforward machines, but require a high level of control over their sound and want to streamline their workflow. This also makes it particularly adequate for preproduction (I do this for Petra Nova, so he comes over and I let him have his way with the fantom-0 and assist him wherever his fantom-0 skills stop or I look for the right tone or something). to summarize: For me, even though it has some small technical shortcomings, it's the best I could have bought.

Btw, check out the youtuber "a Mack Classic", he's also a Fantom-0 user and he makes jams and songs very often with it. Although I would advise you to always take into account that people tend to be very enthusiastic about devices they have learned to work with. We tend to forget that it's not for everyone. 😬

It's an all-in one workstation, so what you expect in a DAW but in a playable synth sized machine, with possibilities the makers themselves probably don't realise yet. It's a beast of a machine but that doesn't mean it's flawless... if you want more infos I suggest to check out turorials and reviews. Maybe I'll make one myself as well. You'll find that the overall conclusion is: a number of small issues, but highly intuitive, many features, advanced controls for the user and a soundbank which is, varying from category to category, okay to great. As you may guess I wasn't satisfied with the organ tones so I engineered them myself using the Fantom-0 flutes-, reeds- and brass-waveforms, which augmented my sound engineering skills.

I should add to that that the price of these type of workstations vary enormously, also from country to country (I chose the middle category) but it also excludes the need for a laptop to make music like to a very high extent, so that you can save on that, given of course the assumption that you would basically use your computer for music production

Afterwards there always seems to be some kind of logic in it when I do it that way but in the moment itself I never see it 🤣 rhank you for the compliment btw, I appreciate it!

Ah Brechtjen 😄, wel, ik ben op het ogenblik aan het uitzoeken hoe ik mijn orgelgeluid wat echter kan doen klinken + ik heb een oud extra keyboard kunnen aansluiten op mijn workstation, dus in die zin kom ik al wat dichter bij een orgel, maar wie weet ooit. Ik droom er stiekem wel eens van om dat stuk te spelen op een kerkorgel, maar dan wanneer niemand het verwacht. Als je acteerambities zou hebben, kunnen we dat combineren met jij die plots als Dracula vanachter het altaar komt 🤣🤣
