Yeah, the original Seldom Scene was a once in a lifetime fortuity….but nothing is constant except change. Every flavour of the Scene brought us to another wonderful place. Those reunion albums with John Stalling and company were watershed moments. Todays Scene is comprised of a collection of personal favourites who blend their talents into another wonderful place. Keep it going guys!

Great band... been a fan since the 80's

They're good players - and some played with a couple of the original guys - but they are not the Seldom Scene (who are all dead).

Interesting that identical twins would have such differing vocal ranges. 🙂

I have "Seldom Scene at the Cellar Door" from the 70's? The only problem with it was some woman wanted to be on the record screaming at every quiet moment in between tracks! Sometimes I don't replay it because of her! Sorry....this was great to hear. 👍😁

Thnx for posting this song with one of the best bluegrassband’s ever. No one of the most seasoned members is present, but the soul is still there. Btw it is Ron Steward on the banjo? The Boxcars is one of my favorites as well..

We've made it a crime to disagree with our puppet government they have over them. The instigators & original theives are immune from all scrutiny & beyond all reproach or question of their lies & false witness. We protect them bc "we" are stupid enough to believe their perverted lies. We do disobey our GOD by judging the original theives & instigators by their lies, labels, and distractions, instead of judging their fruit.

Still that Seldom Scene sound with no original members at all left in the band.One of the biggest draws in 70s and 80s and 90s at Berkshire mountain bluegrass festival, Winterhawk, and then Greyfox bluegrass Festival in New York, which is to resume in July of 2022
