🤩❤
Love to see The Stanley Brothers
Hell yeah
Wow😮❤
Yeah, the original Seldom Scene was a once in a lifetime fortuity….but nothing is constant except change. Every flavour of the Scene brought us to another wonderful place. Those reunion albums with John Stalling and company were watershed moments. Todays Scene is comprised of a collection of personal favourites who blend their talents into another wonderful place. Keep it going guys!
Great band... been a fan since the 80's
They're good players - and some played with a couple of the original guys - but they are not the Seldom Scene (who are all dead).
Wrong - Tom Gray who was the original bass player is still alive.
@@seanmccormick3270 OK. One original is still living but I still don't consider the guys in the video to be the Seldom Scene.
Interesting that identical twins would have such differing vocal ranges. 🙂
👏👏👏👏👏 Ottimo
Love yjat tune. Very inspiring
I love that song with the P S
Excellent! Bravissima!
GREAT PLAYING , BUT WAY TOO FAST . ' GREY EAGLE ' IS A HORN PIPE, AND HORN PIPES ARE PLAY MUCH SLOWER THAN THIS
These girls are just great! thx
Awesome group of musicians!
I have "Seldom Scene at the Cellar Door" from the 70's? The only problem with it was some woman wanted to be on the record screaming at every quiet moment in between tracks! Sometimes I don't replay it because of her! Sorry....this was great to hear. 👍😁
All great musicians but I've never heard anyone flat pick that one on a guitar like that! WOW.
Nice choice off tune!
Thnx for posting this song with one of the best bluegrassband’s ever. No one of the most seasoned members is present, but the soul is still there. Btw it is Ron Steward on the banjo? The Boxcars is one of my favorites as well..
Yes, Ron Stewart joined the band several years ago Sadly, there's only one original member of the band who is still alive.
Mighty good
Dr. Ralph Stanley in the house!!!
Wow!!!
Most underrated band of the last years. They should be the talk of every bluegrass fan.
above average!
with some people.. you see their instruments and you know: they can play. :D
MY NIECES! So proud of them 😘
"They" finally had their nation back under "their" control, & loved "their" leader that led them to that recovery. "We" helped rib them of it fir the second time in a generation's span. We've made it a crime to disagree with our puppet government they have over them. The instigators & original theives are immune from all scrutiny & beyond all reproach or question of their lies & false witness. We protect them bc "we" are stupid enough to believe their perverted lies. We do disobey our GOD by judging the original theives & instigators by their lies, labels, and distractions, instead of judging their fruit.
Kody it's getting bettet! Keep going.
Amen!
That is some great music by some great musicians
I was first turned onto the Seldom Scene in about 1976-77, been hooked ever since…
I don't know much but I am pretty sure that is some fine picking!
Love yall 💓...Sweet !
Excellent!
May the magic of Seldom Scene never end!
Great tune. I’ll be seeing these guys in a couple 3 weeks. Looking forward to it! 🪕
I like that microphone that you are using in this video.
SUPERB
Always been a Scene fan from the original but I have to say this bunch is great Lou & Dudley make this band meet them when they played a show in Williamson, W.Va !
This is a tragic romantic Ballad
The lyrics to this song are Very sad
Beautiful!
What’s the tittle of this song ?
The carter family album 🤩🤩🤩
Say, what's that song in the video?
I would like the tittle too because its very great i hope they answer
Good stuff!
Sweet looking ole banjo 🪕
Beautiful harmony that can not be beat.
I love this band, by far my favorite
Yes. Sometimes they’re playing it just a little too fast though to where you don’t have time to digest or discern the melody. I think they should slow it down just a hair on the faster tracks. The Stanley style picking is, of course, what makes the band worth listening to. The Stanley style is so rich, and always will be.
Still that Seldom Scene sound with no original members at all left in the band. One of the biggest draws in 70s and 80s and 90s at Berkshire mountain bluegrass festival, Winterhawk, and then Greyfox bluegrass Festival in New York, which is to resume in July of 2022
No original members, but similar parts if you will; a great tenor, a banjo player who can integrate Scruggs and melodic styles, slick dobro paying and a good vocal trio.
My father Lou joined this band when I was born in 1986. He wanted to get off the hard touring road life. He left the Ricky Skaggs band in 1986, and has been a member of the Seldom Scene on and off since then. Ronnie played in the Tony Rice Unit with his brother Rickie, Dudley with the Johnson Mountain Boys, etc. While you are correct in saying none of them are original members, these guys are far from a rookies!
@@seanpyrtle5603 As good of players - and singers - as they make!
Great Fred Neil song made famous by Harry Nilsson. Check out Fred Neil's original on RUclips.
