Exactly this happened to me in 1992. The baby tested positive for drugs that they gave me in the hospital during labor. CPS so they could not find the administration of that drug in my records, and I demanded that they call the doctor immediately. Doctor admitted they had given me the drug and apparently didn't know why it wasn't in my records. They were basically ready to snatch my baby right out the door.

The woman from these eras passed down knowledge to their daughters and nieces of things you shouldn't do to benefit future husbands because it would only hurt the women. That ball kept on rolling and now women are soley focused on their own mental health and say, "Yes, we will marry but under said conditions." And many men, not all, cry how it is unfair to them. Those men need to realize we are looking out for our own well-being because we were taught by our grandmothers and great grandmothers the horrible things they went through for their husbands. Going back down that rabbit can lead to society reversing back to those times and we don't want that to happen.

You just het a doctor to say it's life threatening. The issue is doctors saying it's not a health problem. Unrelated, I can legally get drugs only allowed for certain people when I don't fall under their category. I was having menopausal symptoms without actually having menopause. My body was so stressed it was creating it's own symptoms. Doctor said he would classify me has having Workshift Syndrome so I could get the drugs I needed to keep my brain properly functioning at weird hours.b

And they want to remove our rights to women's healthcare

OMG! I have such a problem because of my diastasis recti! I have had multiple hernias and I have pain constantly. I’m in the process of trying to find someone to help me. I had twins and they were each over 7 pounds. I’ve had multiple repeat hernias because of it. My back is now going out and I cannot work out. I’m not even talking about the look of it. This is not about cosmetics. This is about. I can’t live a normal life.. It is ridiculous that this is a situation where we can’t get help for it even with good insurance.

Unless and until it causes you measurable harm, it will be considered cosmetic.

In Canada if you are prescribed a highly addictive pain med and become addicted they will throw you in jail for life.... Well that's what the new conservative government wants to do anyway. Mostly folks just end up homeless.

Yet another reason not to have kids. Glad my hysterectomy is on the horizon.

This is insanity to me. Have you talked about cervical biopsies? They typically dont use any pain management for getting a chunk of your cervix taken out. I have had two. The first one I was in so much pain for over a day that i considered going to the hospital. The second time i had one my doctor tried to convince me i didnt need it. She put lidocaine on my cervix and i had zero pain. Thats all it takes! And they still dont want to do it.

This reminds me of a situation. This used to be true, and maybe it is today. Female, gets cancer, and they remove it without reconstructive surgery. A male gets cancer, and the reconstructive was built right into the procedure.

This is horrific. It’s much worse than I realized.

BMI was invented by a health insurance company in the 1920s so they could deny coverage to high risk customers……. They only insured white men, not women not POC. Find me a white man, an African American man and a white woman, all 6ft tall all healthy athletes, place them side by side and tell me they have the same body composition. And women of colour are different again. And yet we use BMI to medically discriminate constantly.

And this is why no woman ever should donate to research for male conditions. They will get funding. We won't.
