The reason why Arbiter's fuzz face circuit was very similar is because they directly copied the circuit, but used much much cheaper (bargain bin) parts, which resulted in a very different sound.

I have one of these and it's in better condition than the one in the video. The question is can I bring myself to part with it after all these years? Not sure....these were the best phasers in their day and so the authentic sound is a cherished one.

That was the first pedal I ever bought in 1975. The wah was great. The fuzz was everything a 16 year old could ask for. Terrible by todays standards. Sold it in 1977 to get an MXR Distortion +.
