Who wants more miles??? Seriously, this day and age you wouldn't be using paper anyway, it's called an app. HOOAH!!!

They did that to me, I asked to get a new device they said i had to sign for it. Then they hid a contract in the invoice. I got out of it by canceling the card they used and told them that can talk to my lawyer, plus I reported them to the FTC.

Same sh!t happened to me. Used to 4owners operators under my DOT. When they decide to go KT don't allow them to use their devices and charged $2600 because they tricked me by locking me in 4y contracts. The 3rd year I canceled my credit card and now they took me to collection but ain't pay 'em sh!t. Stay away from those crooks

You can run paper logs if you: run logs no more than 8 out of any 30 day period; are a driveaway-towaway driver (which doesn't sound like your situation); operate a rig that is older than 2000; run short haul with 100 or 150 air mile radius; run certain agricultural operations; run oilfield operations or concrete mixers

All you have to do is look up accident statistics since this garbage has been forced down our throats. I have emails from the eld companies that the elds steal 1-3 minutes when switching from driving to any other status and that the corrupt FMCSA is aware of this. This violates labor laws and on average is stealing 20-30 thousand dollars a year from my income. I do not sign my eld because it is inaccurate. My pre trip every day has the eld written up as junk. The eld is a fraud and has not saved the 26 lives a year this corrupt FMCSA lied about and all the accident rates have increased by approximately 8% or more. As a driver I have seen more accidents and more reckless driving behaviors. The elds were never about safety they were out into to trucks so corrupt government offices and politicians could put money in their pockets from corrupt IT companies.

Hi Peter, They are both navigator designed for truckers, with a built-in dash cam feature. The difference is that LMTHD is designed for use in commercial trucks, and it is typically more accurate and updates more frequently than standard traffic data.

Hi there, If you are working short haul but are from another state, your eligibility your eligibility for the ELD exemption would still depend on whether you meet the requirements (mileage limit and HOS rule of 11 consecutive hours of driving and be off duty within 12 hours after starting a shift). If you don’t qualify for the exemption and don’t follow ELD rules properly, you could face fines, be declared out of service, hurt your CSA scores, and even face prosecution. So, it’s always best to stay informed and follow the rules! 😊

You are correct. The Garmin RV 785 has been replaced by the Garmin RV 795. They are virtually identical, with one big difference, The RVCam version has a built-in front-facing dashcam to record any incidents on the road. But 785 is still available in the market :)

@@elddevices I have the 795RV Cam. I really like it. Way better than my trucker app on my phone. Using trucker app plus using an app for my TPMS, my phone would over heat, using to data hungry processing apps. Hence, the 795 bigger screen and takes processing data off my phone.

Yes Motive is full of it…. They still will charge you for every month even if you’re truck is down or you jus injured

Yeah, I've noticed that about mine ,also. It won't Ding me on duty, but it will show in the odometer readings that the truck has been moved.

Hi Daniel, for a single truck I'd assume that your priority is basic eld compliance nad cheap solution, so, I'd suggest to go with the ones that doesn't require a monthly subscription like Garmin (but it requires an additional dezl device for ifta), or no yearly contract like Magellan or HOS247.
