@Scripture-Man Home recording is just convenient particularly for busier actors, Chris did all his recording in the studio but I don't know if Alex recorded with him.

@@doctorwhorescored3151 I guess if it's far more convenient for the performers then it has to be done that way. Better that than not getting them on board. Though IMHO there is SO MUCH to be gained from being in the studio with someone: 1. You're looking at a real person 2. You're seeing how they do their lines, which will instruct yours 3. The timing and cadence will be so much more natural 4. The intensity and energy of the scene will be more consistent 5. You also build the chemistry, the rapport, it's a genuine relationship 6. You can 'bounce' off each other, or even improvise somewhat 7. Instead of each line being delivered rigidly in turn, you can have a more organic performance, with lines being interrupted slightly, or actors quietly reacting while the other is speaking

@Dude-oy9dl I think what's unique about the Second and Third Doctor recasts especially, is that they aren't just going for direct voice mimicry, the performance reenacts the spirit of the characters wonderfully, it's not just an impersonation, there's a huge difference.

I'm partial to Frazer Hines' Troughton impression.

@tenshiigarashi4063 that's fair enough, it's hard for some to get on with the recasts, so I'd imagine having three recast Doctors together would be a struggle. Personally I think both Tim Treloar and Michael Troughton are doing brilliant in their roles, regarding your comment about the Second Doctor were you perhaps thinking of Frazer Hines playing him in the Early Adventures and other narrated ranges?

@@doctorwhorescored3151 Yeah now I understand why I thought the second Doctor sounded different. Up to this point I have only heard Frazer hines voicing him in the audios I have.

@@jackryan8736 Big Finish have explored this in terrific detail, there's quite a few stories that show how it affected them. 'The Lost Resort' in particular is another story that's just heartbreaking to listen to for how the Doctor faces what happened.

@mh6944 Great suggestion! I'll get on that, I tried uploading Leela's departure with Martha's theme ages ago but it had a hissy over copyright, hopefully this one is hassle free.

Is the track called 'Speeding to Earth'?

@@doctorwhorescored3151 It's an unreleased track that's usually referred to as "Race to the Mansion" or "Flight to the Mansion" but it might've been called "Speeding to Earth" too.

@@danieldunn613 Especially seeing as they had quite a few adventures by the sounds of it, they'd already gone back on 9 not travelling with anyone pre Rose so it wouldn't have made a difference. I would have liked to see them in at least the other stories in that box set, I was also gutted they missed the opportunity to pair 9 with Leela in this story.

@@doctorwhorescored3151 The issue I had with the NDA was that it fell into a bit of a repetitive format, and the Ninth Doctor in particular feels like a Doctor that's creatively shackled by what's established in his brief time in the show, so it always felt like they were playing it safe I really had my hopes up at the end of Red Darkness that Big Finish were finally gonna take the Ninth Doctor somewhere new but nah

@joniejoon2 I didn't even need to match up the cues to the dialogue for this one, it was very convenient timing.

That moment got me, Jamie and Zoe forgetting the Doctor was still reasonably fresh in the Doctor's memory.

@@doctorwhorescored3151 Until the memory TARDIS that is, watching Jamie and Zoe reunite after all this time was heartwarming and made me tear up a bit. Frazer and Wendy did such a fantastic Job. Doing Big Finish made it so easy for them to slip back into character onscreen.

@mh6944 Thank you! I'm limited with TV scenes because I don't have the right software to remove music, I use a less sophisticated app so I search for edits with the music already removed haha. Perhaps I will need to collaborate with someone who can remove music from scenes.

@mh6944 As long as there is no music in the scene already or at least nothing too over powering I can certainly give it a go! Great suggestion.

If there's a particular track you have in mind that would work too I'm open to that suggestion, though I try not to use the same track twice.

Nevermind I believe I've found the perfect match, a track from Day of the Doctor, very fitting as it has cues of 'The Doctor's Theme' too.

@MrsMoores Thanks I'll take note of that. My excuse is making the edit on my phone 🤣, I do try to produce a decent balance where the music keeps it's impact, the quieter parts are harder as I need to split the track and adjust accordingly.

I had a few theories, they were at the bottom of my list because I thought that would be too obvious, but I guess this was bound to be the case.

@@doctorwhorescored3151 It would explain the Dalek experiment back in Beyond War Games boxset.

They already met up in another audio a few years ago. It was a story called ‘R&J,’ from The Lives of Captain Jack: Vol 3.

@MiguelGarcia-tg2km Which scene? If it already has music it will be hard as I don't remove the music I just use scenes without music, but I'll certainly be up for giving it a go, I know the twist at the end has some music so if it's that scene it will be tricky.

Is there a track you like from the show or spin offs that you think could fit? I try not to repeat tracks I've used before in the videos.
