I do not. My battery is in the rear on my model under the bed. Pretty easy to get to

2014 and up have power steering. I’m assuming you have a 2013. But either way you don’t really need it. It is nice for sure but not needed. Install anything you want. Same body style as mine

@ Yes, I have a 2013. Do you recommend the kit from SUPER ATV? I don't really like how it comes installed under the steering wheel, it looks ugly..

@@MicleaCostinsuper Atv seems to be good stuff. I am not sure for power steering. Since mine has it u haven’t looked. Check out the Facebook group in my descriptions. Join it and someone will help you out.

I couldn’t tell you on that. I would assume it’s the same procedure. Don’t over think it too much it’s just a throttle body. But you need to look into it more for your vehicle for sure I don’t want to tell you wrong. The newer the vehicles get the more computer crap they have haha

Nope just cleaned it. Gasket was fine. They usually are unless you see really noticeable damage or dry rotting

I have a video on my 0-60 times I didn’t do manual mode in it though. But my 34” tires and 3:55 still make it run 7s 0-60. I want to get a set of stock tire size and throw them on my stock wheels are redo it.

Yea it’s the knock sensors. Chevy problems. Also mine had no screens weirdly but it’s not the only Chevy I have seen not have them. My 2000 5.3 didn’t either. I have a video on the oil pressure sensor on here.

@@5.0axelI’m tuned and it’s fx4 but these 34s slow me down with 3:55 gearing. Air conditioner doesn’t do too much drag for newer vehicles like it did older. It wouldn’t have made a huge difference haha

@@5.0jeffroyou got 3:55 I got like 3.73 I'm tuned with 93 octane tune from Diablo sport and I have the air conditioning off and it's actually faster but if u use manual it's much faster also how much does your truck do on 0-60 mine does 5.87 seconds

@@5.0axelyes 3:73s help for sure. ​​⁠i have the OZ tune and I run 93 and only manual shift sometimes to cruise. But mine is about 7.5 seconds. But like i said basically have 35s so it’s still slow. I want to get some stock tires on my stocks and see how it feels

@@5.0jeffro What stereo system you have in it? I have the full windshield with wiper that was already there. But no washer bottle setup, i got that done earlier. Still looking into some sort of music setup, have about 4 months before the first ride. "Located in Upstate NY" Have plexi roof and rear as well.

@@CreativeJ75​​⁠nice and this is a stage 2 audioformz roof so it has the alpine and 4 speakers, led lights in the front, 1 on the rear for the bed and a dome light. If you look at my first video of my sxs on my channel I show it better and you can see what I changed.

That’s scary and I don’t believe this is the issue. Cleaning the throttle body wouldn’t help. Sounds like your accelerator got stuck somehow.

I didn’t but you can and it’s always safe practice to do that when disconnecting connectors for sure. But it’s not really necessary here.

smoking is NOT good. stop driving it. white smoke = blown head gasket. blueish smoke = burning oil (valves). black smoke = running very rich

No just the toyota logo. The dust cover as you mentioned. I somehow pushed it all the way in by mistake. Do I just remove the whole wheel skin, pop it out and put it all back together?

@@fury.og37that’s what I would do. Take off the hubcap and see if you can get it out with little screw drivers or try that first without taking it off. It shouldn’t go on too far, that axle cap just clicks in place

I was wondering why most guys showing how to do stuff on YT don’t use a torque wrench. HUH!

Glad that fixed your issue! If it dies again try a new throttle body. These are known to go out some times!

If you have an electronic throttle body it should be the same as this. But you might want to see if someone has a video of your model truck just to be sure.

That’s just a regular socket. Harbor freight, auto parts, Lowe’s etc will have sockets. Just have to make sure it’s the size you need for whatever lugs you have.

@@TechBeautyQueenyou can find small flat head screw drivers at any hardware store, they usually come in a big set

Turn your key to the lights on position and press the “S” till it says hours. Hold the “M” button while flipping your light switch up and down a few times. Low high low high low high.

Yea but that doesn’t work most the time by itself. Some times those pins get some surface rust that makes them stick. That’s why you wash them and then dry it off and spray a silicone based lubricant like I did. It keeps them going smooth. And it stops some dirt from accumulating because it’s silicone based lube it’s not oily. I only used brake cleaner in this video because I had already sprayed these off and it dried. And also compressed air helps it dry and gets it blown out so you can apply the lubricant.
