Was there in the stands before teaming up with Dr. Lee to put together two 20 minute medleys of tunes from our freshman, sophomore, & junior years & a second with all from our senior year & as 1972 Class President having the Marching 110 play for our Commencement; the only time that has ever happened...thanks to the favor President Claude Sowle granted me. President Sowle & his wife Katie hosted the 110 & Class Officers for a party in the backyard of the President's home, complete with a horse trough full of beer cans, the night before graduation. Also got an honorary membership in the 110 being unceremoniously "baptized" with the trough ice-water...with President Sowle smoking hus cigar & laughing heartily, being part of the whole scheme. 😊

This is some of the best field show marching and playing that I've ever seen! They have a lot to be proud about.

No doubt, Ohio U has the absolute BEST College Marching Band in the country!! Congrats to all of those that have been a part of this great Band for so many years. It seems what many started at OHIO U many years ago is being continued to this day with precision and excellence!!

I just watched this how many years have they not marched in to the memaud? Is it because the band is so big now so they just start on the stage to shorten the time to get all the band to the stage ? They have sounded great all year and thanks so much for allowing this to be shared for the ones that could not make it there to see the most exciting band in the land OHIO!!!!!!

Was there with 3 other trombone section alumni & more close by so 6 of our 19 member section in 1991 & it was one of the best shows ever & i have been a there for them all; music was outstanding, the trombone features were more numerous & depth of sound amazing, dances were creative & really entertaining, the percussion section was incredibly tight & musical. It was worth the two uear wait to see another Varsity Show!!!
