I too understand the disappointment from childhood when new video game consoles released, along with new sequels and “next generation games” were what everyone wanted and talked about. I remember thinking, “is this it?” Sure the presentation of games can become prettier but if the previous and older generation of games function better or the same, it’s hard to follow everyone else’s excitement.

Mr Kamiya has good taste in manga. Also it is interesting to see how Space Harrier has made such a big impression back then. I saw an interview with Yuzo Koshiro and he also mentioned Space Harrier being impressive to him at the time.

Kamiya san pls add english sub if you can. I am fan of yours but i can't understand this video. I just realise there is 2 version of this video one of them is english. I don't know the reason but sorry for the misunderstanding.

About manga, Kamiya didn't mention it here, but Bastard!! currently has an anime. He's also a big fan of Cobra, which was Dante's main inspiration (also inspired Metroid, Mega Man, and Berserk).

Yu Suzuki/AM2 made a 3 monitor arcade racing game called F355 Challenge. Haven't played it myself, but it looked interesting.

最近のゴジラ×コングの地下空洞が、天上にも山や森があって、グラディウスの1面みたいな世界でした。 シューティングで言えば、 全方位STGのゼロガンナー2が、標準を中心に自機がクルクル向きを変えるシステムが、未だに斬新で好きです。

I doubt most people know about it and I forget it's name however I remember playing a Shmup flash game that was really fun many years ago. It involved fighting waves of enemies but the more points you earned the more you could upgrade things. It was interesting because you could upgrade everything from ship parts to unlocking in game settings, the graphics to different levels, and the individual parts. It was a flash game so it might be hard to find after the adobe flash incident. However that was probably among my top 5 flash games just for how creative it was. I still remember the different shapes and stuff I'd make my ship into.

I'll probably read Bastard but only because I was planning to already after watching the anime. Hopefully the guy makes more of it. Also you're not alone in not liking Demon Slayer. Reminds me of when someone was saying "Darksiders 3 is great if you know what you're doing" just watch this". I clicked his video and not too unlike my own gameplay and so I realized DS3 wasn't for me. I was really hoping I missed something but now I know I was playing as the developer intended. Darksiders 2 is still one of my favorite action games.

The last thing I expected Kamiya to talk about was Baoh. It's a shame that it's so unknown, considering Jojo is so popular. The things I'd do for a modern Baoh adaptation...

Kamiya-san, why not post the video only once and add English subtitles there? You can add an English title and description that will only be shown to people with RUclips in English, so there is no need to post all videos twice As for my question, do you have any favorite collab that your franchises have done with other games? Like characters from DMC being in Sengoku Basara and Marvel vs Capcom (along with Okami and Viewtiful Joe) or Bayonetta being in both Super Smash Bros and Shin Megami Tensei... etc
