Super truckers is the name for them. That’s why they have so many dumb rules in trucking. Every time they brag it’s about dumb stuff.
If you can get to Asheville Nc it’s going to be in some serious Needs of trucks for a while, BUT IT’S ALL FEDERAL GOVERNMENT LOADS so you can get on with the FEMA STOS PROGRAM FOR TRANSPORTATION SERVICES …. You really really have to do that homework but it’s loopholes to get signed up and locked in with a contract hauling for the USA GOVERNMENT so they really pay well the rates are out of the roofs and if you are serious about it and you can actually pull up a spot in the system then you will be set on go but hopefully this helps you….. It’s hurricane disaster relief work and you get a lot of sitting around and not moving BUT ALL THE EQUIPMENT IS PAID FOR VERY WELL JUST TO SIT THERE THEY PAY VERY VERY WELL …… It’s the real deal so if you want to get into the game here you go all you can do is TRY

Yep plenty of times. There are times I’ve been pressured by my anxiety to take less desirable rates but I haven’t really been able to bring myself to actually doing it.
I've encountered many many people that do these same things. Rednecks and (redneck) foreigners. They will do it no questions asked, legal or not. You always get the same answer when you try to help them "I've been doing it this way and never had problems" they just kill the guys who try to do things safely
I was in that storm I was in mt home Missouri ran from Cincinnati to Joplin in that storm I’ll be out here pounding the pavement till thanksgiving let’s hook up in Vegas around that time.

I actually have. The first time I shut down the company. I felt like I wasn’t all that ready and at same time I felt like I wasn’t gonna have enough time for the OO. I feel like I’m 100% ready now and that I can provide those service with Van and Open Deck. We’ll see…

Hahaha blonde moment. There’s definitely a place for it in my operation but I don’t think it’s a good fit for me at the moment. Rates are already in the crapper. I don’t I want to dilute that gross anymore than what it is now.

This may be a stupid question but what if you went into the manufacturing area of a town and knocked on their door? Offering your services directly.
Not a dumb question at all. This is the old way really and I think the better way. I think if you put a plan together and made some type of presentation or maybe some type of bullet points. There’s a lot of manufacturers that will go along with that carrier just because of how prepared they are. Me on the other hand? Well I wanna do this YT thing and be famous I guess hahaha. Joke. Just being lazy really.
@@guybuddyman838 that’s the way to go directly to shippers. Problem is as a single owner op isn’t as useful to a big company they want a fleet to haul all their shipments or bid contracts. Hard to maintain contracts if you don’t have a fleet

Yeah need to double check the rate confirmation the brokers are getting tricky, I had a load that said no tracking fee of 30% of load or $500 which is higher ridiculous need to read fine print lol
That’s insane. Definitely gotta pay close attention when it comes to that ratecon and stipulation on it. Thats why I like small brokers that just wants to move the load from point a to point b. They could care less for the BS.
Sorry man that sucks, I hate bottoming out. Need to add an overinflate valve so you can raise the bags temporarily
I need to add a riser actually. My bags are almost fully extended at normal operations. I have a couple of things going on. 1 I have like a 6inch high fifth wheel. 2 I’m running 22.5 lopros which I like a lot so I’m probably just gonna get a 10inch fifth wheel riser and hopefully stay within a 36inc deck height still.
