Many swords do indeed have full tangs. The real defining characteristic between a knife/long dagger or short sword is actually its mass & weight distribution. Has to do with the ability to oppose/block larger weapons like a rifle & bayonet for example. A dagger or knife will be too light for all that. Whereas a proper short sword will be heavy enough to do so.

I have it and nowadays it's one of my favourites pocket knives. It's really sharp and light. Thanks for your review!

That's an easy decision. The Buck is made in the U.S.A. & the Uncle Henry is made in China. The Buck👍👏 ( It's been a proven work horse since 1964. Made with quality materials too; brass & ebony wood.) That symbol next to the 110 on your blade is Buck's code for when your knife was made. Google Buck's chart of date stamps to find the year of manufacturing.

The 110 is built like a tank. I have a few. My favorite brand. Not really fond of knives made in China. Quality is inconsistent. That's a misprint on the package that got past an editor who probably does not speak english.

I’ve always seen it as 3 inch blade length. If Someone carried a 2 foot blade length, non locking folding knife, with a swedged edge leading into a 2.9 inch sharp edge. They could run it right though someone. So just assumed if worked that way.

Hi Toad dude! Hope you are keeping the black dog at bay. New knives help a little, I find. The pull on my coke bottle is a little heavy, but not quite that stiff. I have an Appaloosa senator that pulls a little lighter - just about perfect. Nice series.
