walk for life

since insaw this in badboys the 550 i have NEVER stopped wanting this car its like the head of a powerful animal with the heart of a god 🪽🙏 your so lucky sir
One thing about cars-----they all have a story. In your case a touching story about your father's love of GTOs. That said, it is also true that cars are made to drive and enjoy. They should evoke not memories of your father's illness but the great times that were had while behind the wheel of a beautifully preserved example of the GTO. As a fellow GTO owner, I hope you will take forward and enjoy the car for what it represents and the pleasure it can bring while being driven.
I was stationed at Naval Weapons Station, Charleston years ago so I recognized some of the roads. Honestly, Ferrari 550 Maranello is my dream car and this one was very well kept by someone who seems to be a true collector and enthusiast. I love how this car marked the return of the proper grand touring car that was both fun and practical.
bucket list car that one...
When I was a kid, this exact car was my dream ride. Well...maybe in red. What a setup! Perfectly optioned! Congratulations on your stewardship.
550 Maranello is by far my favorite Ferrari of all time. Some honorable mentions are 360 Modena coupe, 355, and 348TB
I will own one of these 550s one day.
Intro music at 2:00 👌Sounds like Kavinsky: ruclips.net/video/MV_3Dpw-BRY/видео.html
that gear change sound paired with the v12... this is one car i'd daily all the way
This is by far the greatest review of a 550 I have ever seen. A down to earth review, very passionate but still very accurate and objective in its description . I'm the lucky owner, since 21 years, of a 550 Maranello (Schumacher Edition), and have enjoyed every single moment. (Although, I must admit, the regular service bills are no joke...)
Thanks 👍
Perfect color combination (silver over burgundy) and sick wheels give it a little more aggressive look than stock. Congrats on landing your dream car.
Ferrari Marshmellow.
Nice presentation, it would be great to hear the engine ,and not the cover music . I watch these videos to hear the Ferrari orchestra.not other man made music .
Amazing! Never thought this would come out, been almost a year since the teaser.
We hope to speed things up substantially.
Great story. Beautifully captured.
This car is so perfectly balanced between modern and classic. It’s trully beautiful without being flashy. That rear end is absolute perfection. One of my dream cars which i will Never own :(
For one of the true GREATS of the ‘90s thank you for portraying this fabulously iconic car to us. YT is full of motions that by nowhere do her justice- Michael you certainly did Sir- Salute to you
Looking forward to this video as well as any future planned ones on this channel!
my fav GT car of all time. i would love to have the 575M w a gated manual
The more times I watch this accurate, understated, and personal account of the 550 Maranello, the more I like it. Thanks Michael. Nailed it...absolutely!
Awesome production! I think I've met you at a Charleston Cars n Coffee, keep up the good work!
Very possible.
MORE MORE MORE please......
Coming soon!
old school, very beautiful car
What a well composed video doing justice to one of the Ferrari's best pininfarina designed grand tourer💛. Thanks for compiling this video!
That video give me some NFSIII Hometown vibes❤❤❤
I prefer the standard wheels that came on these cars. The barchetta wheels are a little busy. Regardless, these will always be one of the most beautiful modern cars, ever.
I love your perspective on this. The wheels that are the best for me aren't that way for everyone. It's interesting, and to me shows the intelligence of the designers that made the wheels both ways for this shape. Cheers and thank you for the comment.
Absolutely Brilliant and Beautiful!!!! Forza 550!!!!
Im only 28, but this has always been the one Ferrari I'd most want to own. So classy, yet capable when needed. Of course, the SuperAmerica with the electrochromic glass roof would be the ultimate goal, but I'd rather have the gated manual for a long term driver's car.
Gorgeous car ❤😊
Best car video I've ever watched. Like a movie.
Hello Michael and team I’m so glad this came up as a suggested watch for me, after watching Iain Tyrrell and Harrys Garage in the UK. I really enjoyed your presentation. No shouting, no hyperbole, no look at me exaggerated synthetic arm movements , just a guy talking calmly and engagingly about his car. I don’t own one and never will, so I admire them from afar. This car was the first Ferrari that I found desirable. Previous stuff I was too young and silly to really notice but I remember reading a review of this in Car Magazine and Iooking at the pictures of this elegant yet purposeful shape. I was never a sports car fan, though I used to pretend to be at one time, but actually what I really like is a nice four-door saloon or a nice grand tourer. A nice shape with an interesting engine and pleasing and useful interior. This 550 is a beautiful GT and fulfils the remit perfectly. Being honest, I thought I was over them now, but watching this has reignited the flickering flame of desire to be near one. A few years ago, I used to drive to Italy for work and sometimes found myself around Modena and Maranello . I used to hope to see and hear a Grand Tourer out on test, but it felt special just to be able to drive past the Ferrari factory front gate. But only because of the 550. I didn’t desire anything else they had back then. They have produced some handsome GTs since though haven’t they! Theres something about the 550 though. As I say, it is elegant and purposeful but I also think it looks approachable and friendly and not intimidating, to both driver and pedestrian. Thanks to you and your team for the content quality of presentation and thoughts it has evoked. Bravo.
This is my favorite Ferrari by far, the design is just timeless and beautiful from every angle, which is very difficult to achieve. If I ever had the money and wanted a Ferrari this is the one I would get, I just love luxury grand tourers.
_No_ scuderia shields, thank god! :D
Bad Boys II Episode on the bridge One of my favorite movie car chase
Glad I found this video, so elegantly made.
Rolling beauty ❤
car with wheels
What a great therapy to recover from the cringe car yters
"...it can transport you to a different Place". The Citroen Berlingo and the Fiat Panda can also do that.
Lol
Enjoy and take care
Hello Micheal this is a sports car like a Patik Fellip watch or a Rolex Daytona like a timeless classic that you put a poster on the wall car and just dream of owning one day even if not it's a dreamers car a timeless exotic you will always love
Bro… you deserve more subscribers!
I hope it’s more content like this coming this is a great review and format this was exceptional
Episode two is filming with episode 3 in talks and lots of connections in the books for more!
Fearrari 550 Maranello # 114332 😍 Grigio Titanio / Bordeaux
Wow! You are correct!!
@@drzetz specificities of your Ferrari 550 Maranello , modulars wheels , aluminium calipers ?
Aluminum calipers, Bordeaux/Nero with Nero piping, Nero quilted shelf, Luggage, and CD changer. New in box modulars added.
One of the last truly beautiful Ferraris. And round back stop lights like a proper sports car.
Love the car, but this was not the fastest car in the world at any time. Don't know what this guy is on to make such a claim.
You're correct as I should have clarified among the main players of Ferrari and Lambo at the time. Certainly there was the F1 and several tuner cars that were faster. But nothing that was made in these numbers. It was all done in one take and honestly that's not the only mistake I made. Glad you liked the car!
Congrats on the channel launch. Watched this video a few days ago but wanted to come back to leave a comment. I get excited any time I find a YT channel producing good car content. All the best!
