How is freeride keeping up with big bikes in situation like this? Which gear ratio back/front can you recommend on freeride for hard enduro?

Man Graham, hope you didn’t sell your freeride buddy! You ride way better on it than this e bike. I just don’t see the advantage. Would never get rid of my freeride. Safest race bike for hard enduro like this for us old timers.

Nice footage, but a way overboard with the 360 views. Seems like some interesting riding distorted and unwatchable, like at 22:55. Just a bit of 360 is cool, more than that and it starts to look cheesy.

How did the electric do for you? I was curious if you felt like you had better modulation with throttle. Did you have more control over braking with it being in your hands? Did you find yourself changing maps at all during the race? And how was battery consumption?

Wow, that is alot of people! Glad you mentioned the range and the extra battery, since that was one of the things I was woundering about! I think I saw that you got out of juice after 35 km or something and you must get farther than that in 3h.

Is that a trials tire on the front? That would be a little sketchy under breaking.

if you don't fall once in a while, your not having fun !!!! The terrain looks exactly like Shelton,WA.

Seems like it has same range to KTM Freeride-E. All the test I saw got a bit over 3 hours on trails but in difficult conditions around 2 hours. Hope the breaks will last - I started on a Freeride 350 (got it in 2012) and when I started riding faster the breaks overheated several times and that is not a fun feeling.

I thank you for letting us take part of your rides! I also envy you your wounderful friends and all the fun you're having! That said I'm amazed that none of you gets into bigger crashes and really hurts your selves! It looks dangerous sometimes. Hey Graham! enjoying the uploads, ive recently moved over from NZ and looking at getting into the scene soon, trying to research what the riding is like on the island to figure out what bike to get, ideally id find something to ride this and the motocross. Not seeing many MX bikes or even really 4 strokes in the flood of KTM and co, is it much of a noticeable disadvantage being on an MX or a 4 stroke around here. im sure the 2 stroke enduros are killer but there price tag is too. my last bike was a 08 RM250 so i assume almost any newer bike will feel nicer than it did.
