279 is a route I have despised for many years, it has used the same Enviro 400’s since they were new and now these buses are coming to an end after the tender said it will be won with electric buses. This journey took 1 hour and 3 minutes.

It’s not everyday you see Caetano Nimbuses still in service, last time I even rode these were when CT Plus and Tower Transit still had them in London. However this one has probably seen better days with the cooling fan being on and off and having a rather poor performance most likely due to age and Arriva’s maintenance!

Hmmm 15040 was a beast. Cooling fan and a loud engine. Shame the scanias are gone now
