Update on 400k x5?

In what world is getting taken by the shop for "hose replacement" a good year just because you paid 1k? A hose either needs replacement or it does not. You don't just replace the hose if it's in good condition. That's just me, though. If someone wants to separate me from my money, they need to have a reason.

Never replace F10 with F80 car you will regret this step! I have replaced my 523i F10 with F36 GC and it was a such creepy experience then returned back to F10 again

Great engines. 2006 530xi 255k, n52 with factory 3 stage manifold. Had it since buying it from BMW dealer in early 2013. It had 121k then. No engine problems, except oil cooler/housing leaks, and this year 2024 a knock sensor. runs great shifts great too. Love this car, best ever.

The 340odd hp Naturally Aspirated 8200RPM in a 3000lb car that looks so good...ugh As Clarkson said, for an all-rounder, it's the greatest car of the last 50 years.
