Music Of 1980 In 5 Minutes
Просмотров 4873 месяца назад
As you could tell by 1974 being the first year I chose for these comps, I like to cheer for the underdog. Although 1980 was the start of one of the most beloved decades of music, the year isn’t really representative of the decade. It was definitely a transitional year in many ways. Bands that had rule over the 70’s had been disbanded or were in transitional periods of their own. Disco, the genr...

The Music of 1974 in 5 Minutes
Просмотров 1 тыс.5 месяцев назад
This is primarily the best of 1974, so a song wouldn’t be in just because it’s popular. Most songs were put in due to the quality of the album it came from. 1974 has a sort of stigma for being a bad year for music due to the pop charts at the time, but despite that 2974 was a great year for deep cuts and general uniqueness in music. Today I wanted to highlight that. Linked below is a playlist o...
EVEN MORE albums with the best first seconds
Просмотров 10 тыс.5 месяцев назад
Thank you guys so much for the support on the part video! Thanks to everyone for their suggestions on this video, especially @Masterofdoinit6697 . I probably won’t make another video with this premise in a while, I had to dig pretty deep into my taste to make this. I tried to not include albums I’ve seen other include in videos like this, so if you think an extremely obvious example is missing,...
Albums with the best first few seconds
Просмотров 133 тыс.6 месяцев назад
I’ve seen this trend from multiple different people, but I decided to do my own. This time I tried to include albums and genres that aren’t usually shown in these types of videos that. The albums, along with who they are by, are listed below: Red - King Crimson Days of Future Passed - Moody Blues The Low End Theory - A Tribe Called Quest Self Titled - Emerson, Lake, & Palmer Self Titled - The C...
1967 was the best year for rock and roll music in the 60's. There was so many hits that year of killer tunes
These are good songs but as far as best few seconds it leaves a lot to be desired.
Shout out to the Barbarian & Ides of March! Shout out to every bit of this. This is pretty much what my RUclips Music uploads look like, and more. Thanks for making this!
SAUCERFUL OF SECRETS MENTIONED 🗣️🔥🔥🔥
3:52 the best song that I found back in 2022 and the best funky jazz fusion song I've ever heard by Mr Herbie Hancock
These kinda videos help me find some awesome music..big props Edit: I appreciate the Del the Funky Homosapien inclusion (one of my all time fav artists)
Gentle Giant and right after, Little Simz is something else.
you know it's going to be a fire video when it starts with Cream
King Crimson the greatest band of all time. I will doe on this hill. Most influential, underrated band to ever exist. Not a single bad album. Yeah, thats right, Im so unbelievably dead serious! EVERY KING CRIMSON ALBUM IS AMAZING!!!!
"Albums with the best first few seconds, excluding the Beatles of course"
AIC's Dirt. Scared the crap outta me the first time I played it.
So many good ones, but off the top of my skull the ones that stick out most are Elvis Costello's No Action, breathily saying, "I don't wanna kiss you; I don't wanna touch" and then the band kicks off two minutes of frenetic bliss, and Big Dipper's She's Fetching, which is just two drum hits and you're in Their world.
Radiohead's first three albums. Pablo Honey, The Bends and OK Computer along with Air Moon Safari, Daft Punk Random Access Memories & Discovery, Pulp Different Class. I'm sure I could think of more!
Love the drum intro into Hot Rats
ELO is in it! 🎉

You have good taste.
Led Zeppelin III. puh Puh PUH BAMDADDAMADUM BUBUMDADDAADUM... Ahhhh AHhhhh AHHHhh AA!
Generally like your taste in music. What about the Cure - Plainsong? Also there is no Miles Davis!?
Aa always, in any kind of competition, ZAPPA, FLOYD, CRIMSON, MAGMA, CAN, ENO... are the winners!!!
GraceLand - The Boy in The Bubble Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds
Nice List but you forgot Let it Bleed
Led Zeppelin's intro is one of the best ever to me, just instantly makes me know something great is gonna happen and makes me wanna listen to the rest of the album. But it lasts more than 5 secs...
Bill Nelson's Red Noise started with "Don't Touch Me". That's a very startling start to an album!
It is a nice list but... There are too many artist reoeats. I makes me think you have a very narrow taste in music.
Dstom.
You should make this into a spotify playlist
0:45 indeed it is
Imo The Dreaming by Kate Bush deserves to be in this list.
I think this guy likes Herbie Hancock
Led Zeppelin III!
interesting idea… more selectively would be in order.
Sick Boi - Ren
Foto van een mooie dag - Frank Boeijen Groep
Madness -Ruelle
Diamond Life - Sade
Dirt -Alice in Chains
Ten - Pearl Jam
Get a Grip album - Aerosmith
Around the World in a Day - Prince
OS MUTANTES MENTIONED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All good, but what about every Radiohead album ever?
Try some old soul - Otis Blue
Around the fur fit perfectly on this
Great idea, making my list.
I think I see a pattern here...
Guns n Roses - Appetite for Destruction
2:25 15 YEAR OLD Shuggie Otis on MFin' bass!!!
Do Fugazi's Red Medicine & Genesis' The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway, & Iron Maiden's Powerslave! Those are my favorite albums.
