Turbo m52 E36 Dyno / First Drift Laps! Friday Night Drift at Caffeine & Octane Raceplex! GTA
Man are we close to our 600whp m52 build series goal!! On today's episode we see the highest hp yet, and get some much needed drift testing following the dyno. All we have to do is replace the mac controller / fix the wastegate vacuum leak, and we can come back for high boost / low boost tuning!! But 550whp sounds like fun for now.. SO LETS GO DRIFTING :)

If someone were looking to stay around 400hp/tq, what would you have changed on this build to achieve this? Love the content and looking forward to a boosted m50 in my future
I end up making 450 on 12 psi low boost so 8-10 psi wastegate spring should get you 400 hp at 10.5:1 with decent cams

Holy cow.. making sure it's precisely 90 degrees.. that's something i've never seen anyone do. Mostly just eyeball it.. but wow, that IS important and most of the time the cause of any oil seepage.
Nice! I did a tube that ends on the side of the oil pump sump. Never had a problem.

I had to install a lift pump setup on my car to get consistent fuel pressure... lift pump moves twice as much fuel as the injector pump "pressurizing the inlet of the injector pump" just to stop the overheating fuel cavitation problem in the injector pump. 150psi but it cant pick up fuel unless it has 20psi already going in it. "evil energy in so many sales tactic's... will do "..." but it needs "........." to actually do that, to the point that a high HP injector pump isn't a pump its a geared fuel pulse damper/flow moderator. 440 gallon per hour at 0psi just to hold over basic operation on a old 305ic V8. gph...lph, '440gph' "g". someone put a walburo 350 in the 4600cc V8 car and it wouldn't run for anything... the walburo 350 was a 350lph scam mod swap that couldn't even make 15psi at the fuel rail. "costly performance mod that made it loose 200hp, wall burrow like a meme of a spy hole to sell the thing saying it is it and it ain't 💩".

Are you running the MAC valve like a fake 4 port? Cause innovate says to use port 1 and 2 for pressure and port 3 for venting but I see you have done something different.

Yes 100% necessary! And thanks! You can fit a socket/extension around the cams if you turn the engine as you go

Remember when i said my motor blew the same way, this confirmed it. Fuel map looked like the himilayas, and was running 430whp 421ftlb but on a 255 walbro, maybe it starved it.

Makes sense now cause I was confused how the first one blew up. If my bone stock unopened motor hasn't blown up at 15psi on pump then I don't know how your built one did lol
12 psi and ethanol should live forever no matter what pistons! But of course the ignition cut limiter is staying 😅

Unfortunately, I've done this once.. *ONCE* ... on a customer's Hemi that I did a cam and lifters in. Sandwiched the passenger's side head down on the thin ground strap that bolts to the back of the head. Being a flat-rate tech and making that mistake...lets just say I have never made that mistake again lol
