Austria's most beautiful Mountain Hut
Last October we hiked to one of the prettiest Alpine mountain huts I had ever been to.
"Peter Wiechenthaler Hütte", newly renovated and timelessly wonderful. The hike (linked below) is tiring but manageable and totally worth it. Spend the night there, you won't regret it.

Wildcamping in the Lofoten Islands for 6 Days

June of 2023 I decided to go on a 6 Day hike in the Lofoten Islands. It was rainy, sunny, windy and hot all together. I always wanted to go Wildcamping and Norway is perfect for that. This is my first Video with my new Camera (Lumix s5ii) and also my first time trying to colorgrade. I've had the idea of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro for some time. Because we knew we wouldn't be in Tanzania again for maybe the rest of our lives, the thought of my Girlfriend flying out after my descent and going on a Safari spawned. Might as well...right? Well once we decided we wanted to spend 2 weeks exploring the Savannah it became pretty evident that we had to take matters into our own hand...

    Thank you! Both videos have been very helpful - I'm going in a little over two weeks, also self-driving through RoadTrip Africa. A couple of questions if I may - a the public campsites at Seronera and Lobo, can you pitch your tent (mine's a ground tent) so it's ready for you, and leave on a game drive so it's waiting for when you get back? Do you have to be back in camp by a certain time. I've spent a lot of time at Kruger National Park, where you must be in camp by sunset. Finally, what did you do for cash? Did you take a lot of dollars with you? Were there many ATMs, and where they dispensing dollars or shillings?

    • @Travel_Stache
      @Travel_Stache 3 месяца назад

      thanks! I would probably ask the guy thats managing the campsite and inform him that you are leaving your tent up. But I'm guessing youll be fine, there were no written rules against it. Yes you have to be back by sunset - being out at night is not allowed. we used the atm at Arusha. We withdrew the max amount two times but I couldnt tell you how much that was sorry. We didnt actually spend that much, but: National Parks - credit card, grocery shopping arusha - credit card. gas stations - cash, couple of restaurants on the way home - cash those were pretty much the only places we spent money. you need some cash, the gas station emplyee that fills upo your car also takes the cash

      Haha youre welcome. No I dont have a Blog. I can tell you what I know: You are NOT allowed into Serengeti or Ngorongoro with a Rab 4 but you are ALLOWED into Tarangire. I would still double check this fact with the Rental Company, just to be safe. The Road from Arusha to Tarangire was mostly well maintained highway. Only the last hour or so (when you turn off from the highway) it gets bumpy. Also the national park itself is not paved of course.
