Space Junk Galaxy is for this game what Cosmic Cove represents in Super Mario Galaxy 2- a relaxing adventure across the empty void of space. It’s hard to describe in words, but this was always one of the game’s highlights for me.

21 minutes after uploading - I'm early, for once! Anyway, I'm giving my thoughts on the galaxies I've always adored, and the first one I fell in love with is right here, Space Junk. I can pinpoint the exact moment, too - I was 7 years old, got sent home from school because I got a concussion from falling. Stupid, I know - blame me being a kid, I was super dumb. As soon as I got back home, I turned on my Wii and got into Space Junk, the silver star mission. From that moment, it felt like something changed, like this wasn't just a game, but an experience. The music, the black hole swirling under the coming and going platforms, the quiet sounds when I nabbed one of the silver stars, all of it was magical. Thanks for letting me relive that moment, if only for a few minutes <3

A fun fact about Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2. This games despite being released in 2007 and 2010 respectively, they chronologically take place very late in the Mario timeline, near Super Mario Odyssey.

I used to hate this level as a kid, I still do but not as much. the second version needs to be erased.

has anyone played sonic x shadow generations because there is a few segments where the gameplay is very similar to this, even down to the thing mario's riding, its there too.
