Thank you for the video . This is a great example of how fickle and uncooperative AI can be with Suno or any AI generator, music, images, or video. I did learn some nuances though.

I'm a music producer and I constantly use high end vocal and song editing software. (RX8/9). There will NEVER be a Stem Separator that gives us 100% clean, no artifact, recordings. The reason for this is pretty simple, Reverb/Delay. Even if you try to remove Reverb/Delay, you're going to get artifacts

Interesting to hear udio better than Suno. I just subscribed to Suno and I think it’s pretty phenomenal but in the mobile app I can’t find anywhere to get stems I would just use another separation tool to do that. Maybe it’s only available in the actual full web version, but now I have to try. Udio if it’s better quality than Suno

Can you help me? I haven't been able to generate any remixes with the audio I uploaded. I send an acoustic guitar audio asking it to generate a style for me with drums, bass and keyboard, and it always generates the same acoustic guitar that I sent, without adding other instruments. I've tested several proposals and it doesn't remix the acoustic guitar that I send.

I wonder what they do and why... They create several lines of tools. then combine them into one mix to create an mp3 file. Why not provide original tracks of individual instruments? Taking resources to separate stems from an already mixed track is stupid, in my opinion. But yes, saving unmixed tracks requires additional space on the server, maybe that's the problem...

The biggest problem i have with suno is the audio quality. The compression rate is so thight when you use 4/4 beats. It basically renders your track to dead. The output now is great for ideas and recreating stuff but not for commercial usage. Once they sort that out then we have winner. I use suno for creating certain parts. Like creating only guitar riffs or piano plays for example and then use it in my productions. The trick is to use the correct prompting. To get great individual instrumental outputs you need to use the custom mode instead of instrumental and then use all kind of tags with commands of what you want to hear. Works excellent with piano, guitar, flute etc. Use this generator in chat gpt : chatgpt.com/g/g-SY5QcDEVS-suno-prompt-master-v-2 Just ask it to compose in a specific style with an instrument without a beat and tell it to use all tags to think of for a track of 3.5 minutes.

Here's the thing with Music AI , it's getting massively ignored by both hobbyists and researchers in comparison to the other fields, it's like the niche of AI, most people out there are extremely busy with improving Text generators (when it comes to LLMs models get obsoleted in a matter of weeks, its going crazy fast) and Image generators, , and then Video, and then voice and then music, in that order. Right now there's not many alternative for running local music AI and that's part of it. Once people really get into it, you will see there will be a sudden "revolutionary" jump in this music AI stuff, it happens often with text and images because both the community and big companies are really invested in those, for music its being very slow to the point its being "ignored" pretty much but one day its gonna get crazy good overnight once there's enough interest in it.

I've the impression the Ai tends to follow the brackets more if they're correctly capitalized. When is written in all lowercase tends to follow them less...

Udio has better vocals, but less creative. But Suno has more creative and natural but worse vocal quality. We need mix of them :D

I tried Udio, but I never got results that I liked. Suno might be less for quality, but it kinda reads my mind. I have at least 50 good full pop rock songs from Suno and of those I could easily have an album. Since they aren't exactly what I want, I need actually record them. Just replacing the voice with my own isn't really enough. This was originally an idea to put my lyrics to a band that has no input to make any decisions. Something to put in my car to sing along to my own lyrics. It has served that purpose very well, but I really want more than what I got. Mostly small things. Let's fight for our Ai tools. Who is the record industry to tell us how and what to create. They have done that since the beginning taking advantage of musicians. They don't want to protect your interest with this lawsuit, they want to protect theirs. Musicians mean nothing to them. Fodder and pawns.

AI has a lot of artifcat errors which creates pitch inconsistency on analysis, so I'm wondering how this is affected by that.

Wasted time spent on these features. Stem separation anywhere still not ready for Primetime. "Other" separation equals fail. Each song should be made up of composed components so stem separation not necessary, its already separated.

There is an issue where the AI barely understands the prompt. I was trying to explain a DC comics oc of mine (who is a female) and the AI chose to give me a pink Batman instead 💀

Funny thing: UDIO is very strong in everything with Reggea and dancehall vibes.

As both tools are not "composing linear multitracks" the "Stems" besides the vocals cant exist.... Try to seperate Suno or udio instrumentals and you will see its not based on recordimg instruments, its more than a "Film Set" of a Song. a momentum with "Fake" instruments...know what I mean? So if you are inspired by both AIs..do your a favor to be better then all the rest: Produce the inspiration agai by yourself. It also prevents your music and work not sounding like AI. When you experiment with all thw tools like I do agressivly for the last 8 weeks..you will know what I men. There is a point when you hear the training cause there are elements always repeating over all styles. Thanks for the vid. As I said before: I am too lazy to make all of my research to content... So keep on doing it for both of us, Chris!
