Conversation SnapShots
Добавлен 31 окт 2013
Approximately 25 years ago (currently 2014) I produced with the support of a talented groups of volunteers the television program Conversation on Rogers TV. It's unique style had the three studio cameras on the guest, you would only hear the interviewer. A viewer would enter the conversation mid stream and leave the conversation as it faded out with graphics. We were fortunate to capture some moments with some who were just hitting their creative stride, and some who were into their more established period. The following youtube channel has pulled 4-6 minute segments from the original 30 minute programs.

Host George Orr introduces the videos on this youtube channel.

Christopher Newton - What is Great Art?
Wild Wild West my one of my favorite show as a kid
Trust me he was not a nice man. I know people who knew him and he was a giant SOB to women!!!
A few twirls in the air? Come on,nothing like that.
Imagine a kid in 1965 when the WWW show was on I had a crush on him, later I found out he got married as a kid himself and had kids starting age 17 boy he started early having a family. Then he got a divorce from his first wife married to her for yrs. later had 3 more kids by his 2nd wife. boy he surely got around.
"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding." - Proverbs 9:10
PINGAS!
Dave Hodge was easily the best HNIC broadcaster.
When Dave was on with Grapes, those were the finest days of CBC coverage!
I would have loved to spend a week hangin' with Doug back in the day..I think that's all I could handle! The man was a party!
We got the warrior now
He’s completely LOCKED IN. Fulfilled his destiny as a person.
Love Dave Hodge and Ward Cornell , plus , I did like Don Cherry, sorry Ron just kisses ass now , not even close to the folks that I mentioned
Me encanta cameron.gran filmografia.me encanto la historia de ford con victor mclaglen
I was 15yrs and and the show and its teachings has stayed with me for 52 yrs . I have many of my favorite sayings to memory ." If a man dwells on the past he may rob the future, but if a man ignores the past he may rob the present , the seeds of our destiny are nurtured by roots of our past" Master Po
what happened to the Cameron Mitchells, the Cliff Robertsons of Hollywood? These type of guys just don't exist anymore
In 6th grade (65) we were told to do something with plants. My school mate and I wrote a story about my plant being Jim West and my friends plant was Arty. Just for fun ! Our teacher Mr. Mc Mann herd about it and made us read it to the class. We got A's for our grade and Yes our plants defeated Miguelito Loveless :) My idol at the time ! RIP for all !
The marriage of Gallivan's talent and the Canadiens firewagon talent was simply magic.
“Savard does a Spin-a-Rama”. Loved him.
Movies can be art too, but I get what he's saying. Reading a novel requires more from the reader than a movie requires from the viewer.
Great Actor 🙂 David Carradine 💯
As an actor, I have come to believe that David may have been a tremendously underrated actor - Man, so gifted and talented!
Interesting interview - I totally love Weaveworld; a unique, one-of-a-kind masterpiece
Every young boy in America was watching the Wild Wild West with Robert Conrad. 😊
And every teenaged girl. He was so hot!
Yes he was a legend when he died in 2020 at brat in my eyes🙏🙏🙏
My mom listened to his show every night! Hearing that voice again brings back so many memories - we loved you, Pat.
Amazing that actually Shaolin monks watched the show including my friend who was a Shaolin monk from Thailand
"a blistering drive"
I remember him in the movie Class with Andrew McCarthy and Rob Lowe. He was the one investigating the possibility of the students cheating on the SATs.
Great fabulous TV silver screen actor! Brillant stunt performer. Motivates people with low esteem! Makes the weak strong! Takes fear away from those who fear! Mr. Conrad you are the Greatest! The American Hero!
Great actor he was ❤ him and miss him very much great show it is
One of the great Canadian bands !
100view 0:10 0:10 0:10 0:11 0:11
The interviewer is trying to gaslight constantly, rude and amateurish
Typical reporter/interviewer!
Rest easy, Angel
Weirdly Weaveworld's ending did feel like something Bugs Bunny would do
Miss him. Such a wonderful actor in Neon Rider. RIP.
He has the glassy eyes 👀
He would've turned 86 today.
Defund the communist broadcast system!
Fred was the epitome? Of COOL and modern youth...except hanging out with booze up Premiers lol😅
This is a goodie as well 😁❤️🩹❤️🩹💯😎👍🙂😉😀😃😊❤😂🎉❤❤❤.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
Kung Fu was absolutely amazing. I was glued to that every week as a kid.
Winston was a shit actor , a closet queen, a racist and anti-semite.
Elegant and respectful.

Amazing that John Ford literally gaslit actors. lmao.
When he passed it was noted that he basically cut deals with venues at hotels and stayed there. While Vancouver was obviously home, I don't think he ever HAD a permanent home. Touring was his life.
He always handsome/good looking Canadian actor. Rest In Peace Winston Rekert!!
Terrific actor
One of the greatest guitar players in the world, and no one is interested.
