I think he could have still played, technically, but he would be essentially using a playlist, which wouldn't be good enough for any DJ worth their salt. He could've 'saved' the show, but given everything he had to deal with, I respect his decision to walk out rather than deliver a bad set. Also you can see him carrying on with an emergency playlist, before something happens that was probably just confirming that they can't fix the equipment, and the whole set is gonna have to be the backup.

Mad respect for Hardwell. Had no clue who he was beforehand but now he is one of the coolest DJs in my opinion, because he actually stood up for himself against the festival, WHICH BY THE WAY DIDNT PAY HIM ANYTHING TO PLAY THERE SO HE DIDNT EVEN HAVE TO PLAY
