i was a teenager in the 90s but i only discovered that band last year, better late than never!! :)

Just started listening to them in 2024

Rusty graduated a year ahead of me and went partying, following The Grateful Dead on tour. A couple years later my sister brings him over to my apartment for beers and stories. He spoke slowly but from the heart - and told us about taking belladonna. He lost 3 days. At one point he came back to reality, sitting on the floor of an empty room in a strange house, sunlight streaming through open windows. A man he did not know was picking spots of light off the wall, putting them in a basket, muttering about having to get them all - and then he went back into the trip. Next week my sister informed me Rusty got fired from the gas station she and he worked at, his brain was too addled to be able to count change and he often just gave stuff away with a sunny smile.
