@@Easton-WZ-Hunting-fishing oh ok, yea some of the stuff I do here on the reservation isn’t legal on state side. The laws basically mirror each other, but there’s slight differences. Like it is from zone to zone in the same state. Thanks for letting me know! It’s interest to us to see the difference in laws in different areas !

They’re super effective. Can get you out and away from the boat. A little bit of ripples or waves keeps the bait “jigging” . I highly recommend you give it a try! It give you the ability to fish ANY depth you want and still be able to reel you line up all the way to the bait! 👍🏽👍🏽

@@reservationoutdoors I just pulled my first successful minnow trap ever this morning. It’s one of those smaller ones like in ur vid and I caught 303. We’re not allowed live bait, so I salted and froze them. Ended up with six tubs. I came up empty the first three tries, but watched your video yesterday. Got off my butt and went out and set it again last night. Couldn’t believe how full it was I used a chicken neck as bait. Thx for the tips pal! Frozen minnows here are $8 to $10 a tub.

lol, yea that’ll happen. I like the ponds where there’s only minnows. But then I get a lot of frogs, tadpoles, mud minnows. But at least its not a skunkin

For crappie minnows, usually around 15, fat head walleye minnows, 20-25. Per gal. All depending on the demand of the species of minnows.

I have about 4 tanks. One big one and 3 med sized. If I get a large amount built up I’ll take a break from setting

I was using ol Roy dog food and milk bone because the kids thought it’d be a good idea…. And it was lol. But any kind of dog food works. I like the larger sized pieces because they don’t float through the trap as easy when it gets soft

It's our lake and 150 day limit is fine. The lake produces it and there aren't many commercial fisherman. It gets fished hard on our opener. And that usually only lasts like a couple weeks in late April. Then there might a good go in December. But generally not many are on the lake most of the time. It helps pay the bills though. I don't live up there so my time is limited to when times are really good to be able to fish for the money.

That’s only for when we fish for the fisheries. Otherwise it’s 10 walleye per family/household. Thanks for commenting and watching!
