This is the closest thing I've found, well done . This does what you say... but I was looking to use the Slideshow functionality (and hide the clock). This fix unfortunately breaks the slideshow feature (it doesn't run) as you're disabling lockapp.exe which does the job of overlaying on-top of the lock screen.
