Thank you for this! Do you like your TAKE stripping basket? Any complaints? I'm shopping for one. It looks sweet, the compact function.
Love my TAKE basket. Super comfortable and all around good product. The only thing it doesn’t have is some drainage holes, which I manage without them, but my husband drilled a few in his and prefers it that way.
Drill holes in it for sure. You don’t want a wave filling it when you are in an awkward situation which would be dangerous.

How is it possible to cast that line when its thick one,,how you deal with resistance ect

What type of flies were you using in their, I’ve only had luck a nymphs but I have also only fished right below the falls

Can you suggest flies to tie for surf perch. I have been tying flies for deep sea for over 20 years but never for the surf. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Full sink, mine sinks about 5in per second.

It’s the airflow surf, 265g. Paired with my 7wt.
