One Hundred Levels
Добавлен 10 май 2023
Welcome to One Hundred Levels - join the journey to physical mastery. Socrates said it is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable. Our adventure here is about leveling ourselves up and becoming the best well rounded martial artists and general athletes we can be. I want to make it as entertaining and informative as I can, and generally, provide as many workouts as I can. My goal is to be active every day, and live the one hundred levels journey I'm setting out on.
Maximum Flexibility in 1 WEEK | How to do it + COMPLETE Routine!
Today I'm embarking on an extremely intimidating journey-I'm going to stretch for 5 hours every day, for 7 days. The reason? After traveling across the country, spending countless hours on planes, in cars, and lifting hard in the gym, my body has become incredibly stiff. I've always had decent flexibility, but now I'm on a mission to dramatically enhance it. Throughout my life, I've learned again and again that the key to gaining skill in any area is complete immersion.
As a martial artist, stiffness is more than discomfort-it's a direct risk of injury. That’s why I'm pushing the limits to see how much I can increase my flexibility, reduce injury risk, and hopefully, improve my overall per...

Bruce Lee's Shadowboxing Routine | 15 MINUTES
Просмотров 1,6 тыс.2 месяца назад
Inspired by Bruce Lee's writings in the Tao Of Jeet Kune Do, I put together this shadow boxing routine that works to help martial artists build their foundational stance and develop coordination. Bruce Lee's key points to shadow boxing are fluidity, attack and defense, full body coordination, rhythm and timing, and precision. This routine is meant to be practiced often to develop these skills a...

Bruce Lee's Daily Fitness Program | 25 MINUTE TABATA
Просмотров 3,1 тыс.3 месяца назад
Inspired by the Tao Of Jeet Kune Do, I've put together a training regimen taken directly from the book. This routine is meant to be a daily morning habit. But it's just the beginning, the basics, the foundation that builds and maintains the cardiovascular system. This program should be complimented by his Supplementary training sessions, which come later in the day. Those additional sequences c...
You are very impressive young man. I am willing to join you on this journey. For a young man with a knee injury, this shows excellent strength, ability and capability. I am older now but I have to begin again. I have the hip replacement but it worries me, as I know its a weak point. Well done . Keep going dude (Ireland)
Thanks, I appreciate that! I wish you the best of luck beginning again. This journey is all about self-discovery. I think that training alone should be in everyone's basic foundation. Age doesn't matter, I always say it's best to stay in your own lane and focus on your personal limits and obstacles. I feel my knee every day I train, and sometimes it's too sore for me to even walk. Cheers 🍻
@@CalebCormac I think I can help your sore knee Cormac. I myself have had terrible gout for years. They thought it was the drink. I tried cherries 🍒 for a month and it worked but came back. I was in agony and they had me on the steroids. Then about 3 weeks ago I went fruitarian. I had been vegan before and that didn't work either. But I found when I cut out the grains and wheat and dairy completely the gout hasn't come back. Not everyone wants to go fruitarian though. I still cheat a couple of times a week and I get away with it. If you are interested I am here. Good luck
@@CalebCormac oh you can go frugivore . That's what I meant to say. Like the chimps. So if you really want to you could take eggs or meat the odd time but not too much Cormac, the chimps only do that occasionally. Up to you . I hope this helps
I love how you not only tell us what exercises you do but also why they're useful
This is great and helps me a lot in my Kickboxing routine. Thanx for the good work, keep it up!
That's awesome I'm glad you find it useful ! 😀
Firstly, this is a very well done video. Not sure if you have trained in JKD or are self taught? In any case, I commend your drive and eagerness to learn. As a (UK based) certified JKD instructor, I do want to comment on the defence section of this video. Blocking, whilst good to learn, is not desireable and should be a last resort. Firstly, a good defence is using good footwork and evasive manouvres including bobbing/weaving, slipping to avoid being hit in the first place, second comes parries , deflecting shots that you were a fraction to late to avoid entirely (or to aid when closing the gap in a simulateous parry and hit ), and lastly blocking (which can be painfull, requires more energy and takes longer to counter from). . If you want to talk more PM me. Good luck with the channel.
Please teach me the Tao of Jeet Kune do it will help me a lot post a training video every day please brother and i will support your RUclips channel also ❤❤
Yes I will work on it my friend. I can't post everyday because my videos take me some time but I'll post more Jeet Kune Do soon.
@@CalebCormac ❤️❤️🫂🫂❤️
Brother, thank you very much for telling me this workout, but if you post the training video of Tao of Jeet Kune Do, it will help me a lot. ❤❤❤❤
Was looking for a video like this years ago thanks brother 👍🏽
Glad I could help, you're welcome brother! 😆
Been wondering when you'd release another video! Looking forward to studying this one in depth!
I've got more coming! It's been hard to balance work life/parent life with trying to start a youtube channel. But as time goes on I'll post more and more. Thanks for sticking around !! 😄
@CalebCormac this was a really cool video. I'm nearly to my front splits on each side, but middle splits are trickier. Now you've got me considering a more thorough/intense stretching regimen. Channel membership is out for me right now, but you'll still get SOME support from me via views, likes, and comments! Thanks again for making such cool content.
@@_jade_rebel_ Right on ! That's awesome, yea this was a huge experiment for me and I'm glad I went through with it. Thanks for checking out the video and finding some inspiration to continue your flexibility journey. I'll see you around!
Hi Caleb, I'm a 60 something year old getting back into martial arts. This workout is what I was looking for as a great warmup! Thanks bruh!
My pleasure! I'm glad you find it useful. Cheers Zack!
Appreciate this
"Tao is a random collection of some of Bruce's notes. No one can learn JKD from there. Even some of movie fight choreography made it into that book." - Thomas Marx [Original JKD Instructor]
cant wait to see new video I am so excited I like your videos so much
That's awesome I appreciate that !
Glad i caught this episode, thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Big Bear CA!
This video is great, lots of knowledge to comprehend, .
Thanks I appreciate that
Great video! I’m 51 and a lifelong fan of Lee thanks to my dad. Inspiring video, thanks! ☯️🤙
That's awesome! I'm glad you enjoyed it
That's a good video. If you're willing to look for an instructor who teaches JKD (Jeet Kune Do), wish you luck on that.
Thank you, I will
You are ready for the UFC 👍🏻
Haha maybe with enough support from you guys I'll go take the lightweight title.
Dude!! Thank you so much!!! I was looking for a daily training routine, the calisthenics stuff i found wasn't it for me. I forgot about the exercises in the Tao of JKD. Thanks Caleb. Be the water my friend!!!
Right on! I'm glad you're enjoying the workout as well, thanks for the awesome comment 🙌
Nice I just started great I’m going on this with you love.
Welcome 🙏 let's go man!
Have that same book. Good stuff brother.
Thankyou I appreciate that 🙏
You can’t learn JKD from it.
👍😲
Nunca chegará ao nível de de Bruce Lee
Love the routines
Glad you like them!
This wasn’t around the past 4 years I’ve been trying to research JKD. Well done! I’ve been searching for an in depth philosophical side of JKD. That would be much appreciated from you ❤
Glad it was helpful!
I wouldn’t go too deep into the philosophy of JKD. It is first and foremost a martial art meant to end a situation fast. Too many people go down this path and lose sight of what JKD is. Too much reading and thinking, not enough training and doing. It has principles, body mechanics and footwork. If you want to know more about what JKD really is follow John Paul Daily and watch his most recent live steam, simplicity, directness - non classical. You will learn a lot. Also look into Thomas Marx JKD and Tommy Carruthers. Tommy is easily the most talented JKD guy around.
Hi, can you please tell me what exercises bruce lee did in the gym or make a video about it
Sure thing!
Love your work. Please let me know in which site you got bruce lee's workouts.
I got his workouts from the book!
@@CalebCormac Tao of Jeet Kune do?
Have you ever seen real JKD training?
Who teaches REAL jeet Kune Do? Seems like everyone points to others and say "that's NOT real jkd". Just stfu and practice.
Some are commenting with little research , after training in hong kong different martial arts he flee to USA where he also learned theirs and he combined techniques to come up with jeet kundo .the question he did not fight is , lack of research many sparring he did till he became master . joining Hollywood is not that easy first you must know martial arts
Looks more like Vagetas final blast
Can somebody tell me if anyone else got sick of there life's watching this vid.this is the first time I was absolutely bored to tears with this Bruce lee topic.never thought it was possible..🥱🥱🫣🥱🥱🥱 🫤🫤 I don't recommend this vid at all learn nothing...trust me.💯😬
Movement is the essence of humanity. We were born to move. We only get old when we stop moving. Thanks for this wonderful look at my martial beginnings.
Absolutely, I'm glad you enjoyed it 😄
it is the bullshido way
Very informative 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
Glad you enjoyed it enough to leave a comment 🙌

🤫🧏🏻♂️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
There you go again, don't give up brother!!!
There is no proof of Lee fighting anybody.
Are you ok?
Correct. He was an actor, first and foremost. He had some interesting ideas pertaining to martial arts and such, but like I said before, actor.
Is there any video of Lee actually fighting somebody? And I don't mean practice sparring.
Cant wait to do this one. I over did it doing the 3 a day for a week. I will have to lower it a little. I will work my way up to the full thing.
Same thing happened to me 😂 obviously, doing the full routine is quite extreme, don't feel like you can't take break days and just pick it up when you're feeling good 👍 that's what I'm doing, the video editing takes a lot of time so I'm missing days as well, but I feel so accomplished when I get them all in haha 😄
I’m finding this pretty useful thanks man
For sure I'm glad you're finding it useful bro
Oh yeah one more thing, daily or three times a week for this one?
@darealblazegamer2416 just do it as much as you want! The more the better! I plan on doing it 100 times! Haha
I appreciate your work on studying Lee's work and then uploading the routines. I go back to examining Bruce Lee every so often and it's cool to find a brand new channel that's covering his studies. Looking forward to seeing what else you cover when you're done with The Tao Of Jeet Kune Do, and I'm honored to share a martial adventure with you. Keep up the good work, and thank you very much! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
It's my absolute pleasure my friend and glad that you're connecting with the content! 🙏💯
