@@FeeshingGOD-g8d the cheapest way to do a trailer is a cargo trailer- you can usually start building them out right away whereas vintage trailers need a lot of demo and repair work beforehand. I built the one in this video for under $20k but it took me 6 months on top of working a regular 9-5 job. If you’re handy and want to save money, then DIY is your best bet. Just know that it will talk a lot of hours.

@@baumdelakuh thank you! We focused more on events rather than setting up at a daily spot, so we would generally charge up front or ask for a minimum. As for profitability, you will want to calculate all of your COG’s, and charge accordingly. Most importantly, you will want to pay off your trailer/truck as fast as possible. Or at least recoup the cost you spent to build it. Profit doesn’t begin until your trailer/truck cost are paid for.

You put the butyl tape on J rail first? That is fine as well. Just preference really.

@@alexandrepapineau4448 there is actually no difference compared to electricity in these new machines. I’ve never had a slow down or delay at all. That was true for older machines but they are awesome now.

As long as they aren’t rotted you should be good. If you have a lot of weight you can also weld in some support iron from underneath.

Very powerful! I didn’t have any issues with steaming - I would get a little slow down/recovery time if I did around 4 hot chocolates back to back.

It would vary a lot. We only did events- no regular location. But since we cash-flowed our business everything was basically profit. To give you an idea, our most expensive drink cost us around $1 all in, and sold for $5.50.

We didn’t do many videos for the horse trailer because it’s very similar to our other trailers. The only thing that’s really different is smaller space and curve at the front of the trailer.

The build out cost for the whole van was around $34k- that customer already had the van. Batteries and appliances were about half of the total cost.

It has been great! I haven’t experienced any drop in pressure. Your pressure screw might need tightened/adjusted. Do you open your steam wands all the way when you are waiting for the machine to get up to temp?

These were furniture screws. The metal is so thin on old trailers that it goes through very easily. However, if you plan to store your trailer uncovered, I would recommend going with stainless steel or galvanized. You can get white or black painted stainless steel as well.

The white walls are called poly wall from Lowe’s. The white tile look is from tic tac tiles. It’s a peel and stick.

If you choose the battery system mentioned in this video, it’s good for about 6 hours. So it comes down to how fast you are on your espresso machine. I would say no less than 40 hot drinks per hour, steamed milk and all. So at least 240 drinks in a 6 hour period. But that is on the low end.

One Seaflo 33 Series water pump and accumulator tank. That runs all of the plumbing for the trailer plumbing, including the espresso machine.
