Working Day of a Miner
This project is made with "Noismakers" (Inveted by Luigi Russolo). I wanted to describe through four of these "Noisemakers" the workday of a miner. I hope I succeeded.

Frijid Pink - God gave me you
Просмотров 233 тыс.13 лет назад
Frijid Pink is a Detroit area hard rock/blues band formed in 1967, best known for their version of "House of the Rising Sun," released in 1969. The initial line-up of the band included drummer Richard Stevers, guitarist Gary Ray Thompson, bassist Tom Harris, lead singer Tom Beaudry (aka:Kelly Green), and later added Larry Zelanka as off-staff keyboardist. This is the track n°1 of "Frijid Pink".
Yes....Arf Arf
Fan 70 since 1970
Has that sort of smoth laid back vibe that Ten Years After does to me. Also kinda reminds me of both Steppenwolf and The Velvet Underground aswell as Jimi Hendrix and maybe some early ted nudgent, all shit I could verymuch picture these guys having been into.
I never let you know before But now I must confess That only in your living arms Could I find happiness Yes it's taken quite a while To show you how I feel I just wanted to be sure My love for you was real God gave me love God gave me you, girl God gave me love God gave me you, girl God gave me love God gave me you, girl God gave me love God gave me you, girl Perhaps I've lingered over time It may be just too late You may have chosen someone else More suited to your taste God gave me love God gave me you, girl God gave me love God gave me you, girl God gave me love God gave me you, girl God gave me love God gave me you, girl But if I have only one chance What I hope will be Let God perform a miracle Of giving, of giving you to me God gave me love God gave me you, girl God gave me love God gave me you, girl God gave me love God gave me you, girl God gave me love God gave me you, girl
very very good......................................................
One of my best albums they did a reissue on this last year in 2023 in vinyl I think you can pick it up for about 35 bucks well worth the money
Ive been rocking and rolling since the begining how ya all doing! This is awesome and done by nearly everyone this is special !
Not gonna lie this song makes me tear up every time. I first heard it from the Fallen ride the sky video when I was a senior in high school. As I got older and got into my first real relationship with a woman I played this near the end of our 3 year. We was sitting on the light rail in Seattle and sharing ear buds. When this came on we both started crying. I knew then what this song was truly about.
ayyy, it was Jamie Thomas's part, right? Been such a long time
There are 69 comments, and all are male. Tells us a lot I think.
He sounds like if Leonard Cohen had a son with Barry White.
Good song
Good, good song , this is some of the beauty of be downriver from a band only remembered for House of the risen sun? Alex. No where's all the real comments?
Good
No sound.
Love this till this day! Straight dog town
One of the best ...
♥️kp
I found this song on Spotify. I love this song but this version is so much better
Absolutely phenomenal
Wreck next to the house on the Rising Sun this song really great love the words love the music take care of my friends love you the Carnegie family
Listened to this on an 8 track tape deck in my '65 Chevy Impala 396, in the early 70s. Awesome group. Probably still have it in some box in the attic.
Pull it out. It doesn't belong in the attic.
The sad thing I've learned when I 1st learned that how to download these songs was that I didn't know what I was doing. I was a downriver boy now a man who tried to tell people about the band's and personal guy's in the band's I knew. Smack I'm off google. Sorry I didn't stop, I got my 1st anthem story of my life played , East side story, then 2+2 etc, until I went for for over 15 hours. Anyway that's that. I'm glad to see that others took over where I left off and especially glad others before me tried to but, live and learn. Alex.
The best version by far. The digitally remastered version on Spotify just sucks. Doesn't come anywhere close to this masterpiece
That's because if you can't do it better, you don't do it.
Fallen Ride the Sky`s end
♥️👍
This is one of the most beautiful songs Shirley
Down river had something special as did that whole period where ever you came from.
I grew up in Northville, Michigan listening to these guys perform (or as it is sung in this song "preform") live at our local teen nightclub "THE CAVERN" and learned to play this as one of my covers when I had my own DEEtroit rock band later. There was and will never be anything like the SE Michigan rock scene of the '60's and 70's ever again. Anywhere. Michigan gave birth to more super musicians than any other location in the western hemisphere - both known, and unknown. Look it up if you don't believe me. California? Sheeit. Don't make me laugh. That was just a corporate suck hole to fall into AFTER you'd already made yourself a great musician, guys.

Pérola! bom demais
Jeff Kelley likes this song
I remember hearing this album coming up through the heat vents of our house. The sounds of music and the aroma of incense and what he called Canadian Tomato plants. Wink wink.
lovely! I can imagine how good it must've been
ROFL!!!
Is there some words to this song that are banned? Does he suddenly break into some romantic stuff about Call Any Vegetable when you are lonely enough but watch out for the wax on cucumbers....there's so much to ponder here. Is there something about the words in Penis Dimension that got the song silenced? Do we need an interview with Dweezil to explain the silence or do we need a seance? What a mystery!!!!
I was gave this album in 1973 and had never heard of this band ever before and fell in love with their music listening ever since
Vibes are heavy on this one. I was born in the '90s but it still has a nostalgic sound to me. I sob just like the wah and those gnarly bends when I listen to a this
This song is True . Be True to People's Hearts. Great Band Great Song . Play it for that Special Person in our Lives.
Rip j-boy adams
and while i was inside....
wtf Dan! At least let the track finish... pointless excercise doing your subscibers no favours... no worries, the silence gave me time to say this... SADly, deleting this vid now!
OH SNAP....ok I get it....
the most UNDERRATED Band of All Time...!!!
they couldve really gone places
What we have here, dear friends, is what I consider to be the FIRST Heavy Metal power ballad! LONG before Ozzy, Poison, Motley Crue, etc. I actually wanted this song to be played at my wedding, but I was afraid most people wouldn't even know what or who it was when they heard it!
That's awesome 😎 the crowd would have soon realized that they are the most amazing band if you did play it 😜🤘✌️
So great! Detroit gave us some of the best music ever! I was born the year this song came out
Love this one it's really good really really good take care and God bless all of you
2045....Someone?

Beautiful song!
Thank you for posting this . Spotify only has the 2011 remake . Nothing never beats the original.
YEA THAT VERSION SUCKS TBH
Applemusic too. Both sucks
Yeah!
Yeah amongst other things they took the Hammond organ out, and that's such a core part of this song.
Jay
The silence was the song....not this!
I love this album
Great song fucked over by the sudden cessation of the sound.
