Bigger cooler is actually pretty pointless on these unless your doing a ton of heavy towing in hot summers. Most of the time, fluid isn't even flowing through it. There's a cutoff valve that won't let fluid through it till fluid temps are around 200. And even then, the smaller one has plenty enough cooling power for 95% of cases.

I have had 5 Panther platform cars. The two that had manifold leaks, the leak was behind the thermostat on the driver side near cylinder #5 that seeped into the plug well of cylinder #8 to cause misfire. The car I have now was the WORST! I basically saved it from the crusher, but now it's a real jewel. 2004 Crown Vic LX Sport with console shifter, HD transmission and all the rest of the goodies that come with the Sport. Wonderful car!

Thanks for this! About to do this same job… I’m at 200k, all stock. Aside from timing belt, water pump, clutch, seals, do you recommend anything extra? Did you find anything unexpected that needed replacing? I’m thinking I might go ahead and replace struts and control arms, but not sure about other stuff… tie rod ends? Transmission bearings? Engine mounts?

Reporting live from the floor jack and jack stands. Thank you for this video brother. A couple of those bolts I was lost. Ended up using a series of universal joints and swivel + extensions on that god awful caged in bolt. I swear this engineer had a Jeep mechanic father that he wanted to make pay! I can’t think of any other reason why you would make such an abomination.

2010 mkz had trouble bolting the mount back on it started to spin. The new mount spun when i tried to tighten

I'm having all the control arms and Knuckles and hubs replaced in my 2007 jeep patriot. It's been in the shop about 3 weeks . He says he encountered rust. It was making funny sweets and high speed rhythmic vibrations with the windows rolled up . These cross members are pretty cheap to buy and I can see why . Maybe spray the new one with anti rust paint. Idk

Can i connect the power accessory yellow and the accessory red together to a switch and use it as a power kill switch when not using it?

The small white lights on top (optical, hdmi etc) wont remain lit for more than 10-15 seconds. Therefore no sound is coming from the soundbar. Any solution? Thanks

Is there anyway to know if this is the actual problem before changing out the parts? Like measuring resistance between pins or something. I'm looking at one now and it doesn't look like these parts are shorted out. Do they short or just stop working?

Hey man, so I have a 2006 Jeep patriot that had the front control arm break off/rust off. At 0:37 seconds into this is what broke but on the front drivers side. If you can what is that called? The front subframe control arm mounting bracket, correct? Could you help me find one? And does it have to be welded on? Thank you for your time and help. For real.

Dude you are a superhero. Randomly lost sound on my sb400 one day and I feared the worst. Watched your vid, ordered the regulators...back in business! I would recommend anyone that does this repair, invest in the proper soldering iron. No better feeling than fixing rather than buying new!

I've watched a half dozen videos for this job and this is by far the best for the Patriot. I am tackling this job right now and the unknown worries me. You showed all the angles...thank you! Good news for me, my rear motor mount is different and isn't caging the rack bolt. That was my biggest worry while watching your video.

Awesome video, I have a 2021 sportsman 850 and my frame butts right up on my upper shocks bolts on the front of my quad. Needless to say after some very colorful language and frustration I was able to get the factory shocks off and some HD one's installed thanks to your video. I’m about to replace the pinion seal on my 2011 f150. I’ve had a heck of a time finding a tool to press the seal in. I love the pulley idea. Can you let me know what pulley I need to purchase? Maybe post an Amazon link to the correct one?

What size pulley did you use to press the seal in?

My issue is that hot air is blowing from the top of the dash like the windshield defroster. My radio & climate control do not power on and I changed #9, #2, #20, & #38 fuse. Nothing happened. When I pulled #2 fuse the heat stop blowing out but the dash radio & climate control didn’t come on. I have no idea what to do
