For many years I've heard about Hmong coming from Minnesota to fish for white bass in devils lake specifically. Is there a specific reason for that fish being so popular in that community? I suppose if nothing else its a good size and good eating fish with a 20 fish daily limit so makes a lot of sense to catch a bunch.

you guys seem to be working the Minnesota side of the river more if i'm watching it right. Any reason for that ?

If you paddle up to the snake you can usually get a limit of walleyes pretty easily. Theres a nice "hole" there about 8ft deep at the confluence. Never fished it and didnt get a few for over 25years on the river.

That center island is money! I used to beat the banks with a Texas rig and smash them. You should try Schmidt next. Boat launch kinda sucks but very good bass lake.

I had one hull cracked, nice boat to fish out of but complete junk as far as the hull goes and alumacraft customer service after the sale was even worse

Nice looking boat. Its similar to my 2004 starcraft. Only suggestion i have is mount the fire extinguisher around your steering wheel. Its also a coast guard requirement to be easily available to use

For family and friends you need a pontoon boat by sun tracker .and keep you're bass boat for tournament fishing
