Not measurements but photos. 5D classic, 10D, 20D RAW - why go beyond jpeg? Reap thy reward.
Looking at my photos, is it a good idea to shoot in raw with the 5D classic and early CMOS Canons? You shall see that even the 10D is a lot more capable than you would expect.

Camera Chronicles: Unveiling the Perfect Fusion of Music and Photography
I know this is an old video, as someone who has most of the old canon DSLR, just want to say, it's easy to fix the 20d shutter button. All you need is to squirt isopropyl alcohol in the battery compartment next to shutter button and press it in and out to clean contacts, make sure to keep it upside down till all alcohol evaporates repeat it it doesn't work first time, worked on two of my canons.
First of all, congratulations for covering a complicated topic at length. I have long felt that current cameras are imitating cell phone photos. I mean, today's cameras tend to do more and more things themselves even in RAW to make the photo look "pretty". I think we have all been tempted with some slider in an editing program to eliminate noise and we saw how the cost of not seeing noise was introducing the artifact of sharpness that takes away details, textures, tones. I have to delve deeper into this to find objective points since what you and I can see as "artifacts" for others is the purest and most natural reality that a bird photographer can value. By the way, in addition, bird photography is the most demanding in terms of technical specifications of resolution, focus, dynamic range, burst, etc. Although it is not easy to prove scientifically, I firmly believe that you are right and that we are not the only ones sensitive enough to notice it. You can watch Nigel Danson's video where he compares a D200 vs a Z7 and what you say here you can read from dozens of user comments.
Less Pixel, less processing 😅
my Canon 10D with Sigma 18-35 f1.8 is a dream. never had the need to upgrade.
Hi ... Can you advise where to get the genuine 1.1.1 FW update for the CANON 5D Mk I ? Canon site no longer has them.
Hey ,, János I dont see any distoriont at high ISO on MY Both Sony 7s or Sony 7SII. In photography Cheers .. Luis
Thank you Luis for your feedback! As I do not have any of these modern sensor cameras, I was trying to estimate based on published data on sensor measurements and looking at the public photos people take with these cameras. My estimation was based on my observation that virtually all photos on Flickr show that distortion. I am super super relieved to hear that the 7S-es have clean readouts, and the prevalent issues are most likely persistent user errors. That brings the question to my mind, why the majority of people turn out such poor images with such great cameras... well, same issue as dumb people using smart phones... Cheers, Janos
That`s because the story he`s telling here is complete nostalgic bullshit. There is really no basis in truth and the whole thing is made up like some conspiracy theory. Believe your own eyes and use good glass. Stay away from imposters like this.
I've shot with the 5D Classic as well as the 5D3 and the 1DX. The Classic can't compete in some ways (ISO, auto-focus, burst rate etc.) but in terms of beautiful colours it beats more modern Canons.
I've just sold my mirrorless cameras and brought a Canon 30D/50D and a 7D lower sensor count and very happy with a DSLR, great video thanks.
6D is a gem
How about the 5D mk ii ?
I think it is a fantastic camera, much more capable than the 5D classic. It his a better camera than the 5Dc, but the 5DmkIV is even better, the R5 even better, a big Leica is even better, and the 5D c is better than the Leica..... so we go a full circle, going better and after a while we notice we lost something and coming back to the roots. The 5DmkII has a very unique color science with its earthy tones. Some people absolutely LOVE it, some can't stand. It's because there is a bleed through between its green and red channels, bringing more brown into the images. I think it's beautiful. Different from the more accurate presentation of the 5Dc. So, 5Dc is more faithful, but the mkII is much better in low light, and is a lot sharper due to its higher res and more modern sensor, and has significantly better dynamic range as well. For practical use, the 5Dc feels a lot more limited, while the mkII is still used by many pro photographers as a main money-maker. (The 5Dc would not work for that, only maybe for super-niche customers for photographers who do not use it as a primary money-maker and do it as a fun project where they do not mind the extra time it requires to handle).
@@ShutterNChill for all my life i used to shoot canon, my last one was the R and i shot with it for a while and enjoyed it but not much, i was enjoying my 6D much better but had to upgrade, and then with my R i used to rent the R5 for shooting commercials and fashion but i honestly never was charmed by the experience of shooting with it, so i never upgraded, i sold my R and decided to try fuji for personal use and keep renting for when i have shoots, i bought the x100v used it for a while too and got bored with it as i didn’t like the cropped sensor limitations for portraits retouching and the raw files weren’t that much of a thing, the jpegs can be nice but also never satisfying, i recently bought a 5D mkii used, dead used haha but you know i have been enjoying the experience of shooting with it much more than any previous camera i used, it is slightly slow when autofocus and i just wish this was better but all in all it is a beautiful camera, now i am Thinking of selling my fuji x100v and buying a 5d mk iv as my main camera, i love old sensor so much and i still much prefer a dslr over a mirrorless, never enjoyed shooting with a mirrorless, so i am in a dilemma and hence why i found your channel hahah, i still dont know what camera to own and use..
Don’t laugh. Canon 5D mark Ii, Canon T90, canon Eos 1n, canon eos 1000fn, canon eos 100. Most used canon 5D ii, canon 100. I feel no need to upgrade.
The 5Dii is an amazing camera. My most talented professional photographer friend still has her 5Dii. When I asked her about the new mirrorless or other cameras, she said she will use the 5Dii until it stops working.... 15 years ago, as today, she is producing pure art.
Pathetic video, a crappy M100 in comparison, so called mirrorless. Compair it with a Sony A7, the Sony will destroy the old Canon. The 5D is a museum piece. It`s completely obsolete.
My dear friend. I do not have an A7. Send me one, and I will compare the two. Promise.
The test is a little dubious... The progress of the M100 is still extreme. Here a 6 (APSC) megapixel, a 13 megapixel (full frame) and a 24 megapixel (APSC) sensor are compared!!! This means that the M100 has almost twice the efficiency in terms of light output. I would downsize the sensor to the pixelcount of the D5. then all values result in (approx.) 1.4. The same applies to the low ISO value. it is then around 1600Iso. In addition, the M100 has an APSC sensor, while the 5D has one that is twice as large. if bring the sensor to the same size and resolution, the sensor would be at a low ISO of 3200!!! Please compare the whole thing with an R8, which has a LowISo of 3200 and 24 megapixels. If the sensor were built with 13mpix, we would get a low ISO of around 4400!!!!
You`re sensor distortion story is complete nonsense. It has no scientific base and is at best nostalgia combined with wish full thinking, supported by cherry picked samples that really don`t show anything at all. I know your wrong because i shoot high mp sensors for at least 14 years now. And all i can say, use GOOD GLASS. High MP sensors show so much more, it makes good glass really important. High MP sensors are almost always very good at high iso and retain excepional detail when noise is reduced the right way.
I have to say that I thought about it too, I asked myself if it was valid to make a comparison based on photos taken by others whose editing conditions are not known since we can well intuit that many photos are destroyed in the editing. However, even though the approach to the topic may seem more sentimental than scientific, it still seems valid to me and they are not fantasy arguments. I think that in this video there is a lot of what many users have written about a comparison, more scientific if you want, that Nigel Danson made where he compares a D200 VS a Z7. You can search for it and you will see that in the comments it is either full of nostalgic and fanciful people or something is really happening when you compare the images you see. And what you say about the quality of the lenses, I couldn't agree more, a good lens will always be more decisive than the sensor. It is for this reason that a Pentax Q from 2012 with the 01 or 06 lens continues to have better quality than the best camera cell phone today.
I now own four 5Ds, two 6Ds and several of each model older than the 5D mark ii, I have a problem... an addiction haha. Gear acquisition syndrome is not so bad when you the gear costs sub $200 Cad per body.
I'm on the same road.... got the 10D after the 5D, with the full knowledge that I do not need any more cameras. Looking back, it's been a good choice as I can mount a lens on each of them, and as one is full frame, the other crop sensor, it's like doubling up my prime lenses. Even though it's easy to swap lenses, but I do have a big aversion to swapping lenses on the field as these older cameras have no sensor cleaning. I have also been extremely tempted by the 6D.....
Awesome video! D30 (2000) and D60 (2002) are in the same line as xxD. The same body, same prosumer line. Wikipedia has a Canon timeline template of those cameras for more details. All those babies have some eos-1 body resemblance. I have a D30, a 10D and a 50D. All bought this year. 😅
What lens would you recommend for the 5D?
I recommend two primes - one for wide angle, and another for portrait / tele. I recommend whole heartedly the EF 85mm F1.8 USM for portraits. The EF 28mm F1.8 USM takes gorgeous landscape shots, but fails miserably at any portrait attempts and shooting people. These two have superb synergy with the 5D. For absolute best (but expensive), my absolute recommendation is the Sigma ART 35mm F1.4. That lens takes the 5D to a whole different level in all areas, but it's not affordable at all. Also, for portrait the 85mm ART would also be the top recommendation, but sadly I do not have that lens.
@@ShutterNChill Thank you my man
I found kind of a solution. I have two 5D classic and I love my Takumars, so I put on them a M42 to Nikon F adapter (it has an optical glass) and then nikon F to Canon EF adapter... VOILÁ!!! XD not the perfect set up but it works fine for me. Great video!
Ingenious! Thank you for the tip. :)
First Canon DSLR is EOS D30, and all Canon DSLR also used CMOS sensor since 2000, the only Canon DSLR that used CCD is the original EOS-1D. EOS 10D is the first that used DIGIC image processor, anything older than that including original 1D and 1Ds seem to use old style image processor which (to be honest) I don't really like their color that much as they look pretty timid. EOS D30 and D60 are also APS-C camera. I think the original price for 10D is around $2000 and it's a very expensive item back in the day but it's still at a lower price than A7RV at launch
I really appreciate your channel and honesty. Big fan of the channel and these classic cameras! Is this channel on instagram or fb?
Sadly, no. :( Just these videos.
@@ShutterNChill oh I see, I appreciate you taking the time to reply!

Mate that just isnt true! What do you think you're doing. 😂
Here, I present DxO mark measurement data because it has surprised me very much as I expected the Sony to absolutely destroy the 5D in sensor measurements, and it did not. (Details in the video.) Although the data its accessible to everyone, I have not seen a single YT video going into such detail, hence this video. Also, because of that, I gave it a catchy title so that people get a chance to get familiar with sensor measurements. (How practical a sensor measurement is for you, that is a VERY DIFFERENT question. Probably that's why your surprised reaction.) I suspect you reacted to the title without taking into account the actual data presented. Never mind. Thanks for commenting! PS: on RUclips NEVER judge a video by its title!!! Titles must be catchy for the YT algorithm to pick it up and show to public. My advice if you find a video with a weird title and you watch it, then react to it based on its content, and not the title. More often than not the YT titles tell exactly the opposite of what you are going to find in the video. Thanks!
You are imagining things.
In modern cameras we pay for more megapixels and faster af module...for me 5d or 10d are souvenirs on furniture
Mad.
I've recently closely observed some work on a d40 with good glass that blows most recent cameras out of the water. It was in experienced hands.
For you classic Canon folks...do a websearch for Magic Lantern. You're welcome.
So far the Magic Lantern site & all who posted on it said that it does not work on the classic. Was there a change on it? Would be a pretty far stretch as the 5D mk I does not have video capability. Would be nice touch though.
Thank you for the video. I have decided to pay no heed to the anarchy and disturbances created by mirrorless promotions. Just go about my hobby of creating images happily with my 1DIV, 5D, 5DII, 5DIII and 7D. Bought them all cheap exploiting the ignorance of the gear freaks. I could not have imagined affording them all within very short time had there been no chaos in the market. What a mega grand-feast!
You have just listed my favorite cameras! I am surprised how little attention is to the 7D today, and how extremely low its prices are. What a magnificent camera. I agree with you, this chasing of the latest technology is just a band-aid for people who do not use their cameras, or just failed to learn to use them, and have the mistaken idea that when the camera calculates the exposure values for you, and gives a high resolution image that will be a substitute for having the ability to capture the moment. In my experience the more I let the camera decide for me, the worse my photography got. Sure, lot more "keepers", but all of those "perfect" shots are just getting the "delete" treatment as they say nothing. Going back to the 5D, 10D, my photography / ability to capture the moment has started to improve leaps and bounds. ;
@@ShutterNChill spot on bro. Gear freaks are bound to miss the joy of photograply. In order to augment the joy of organic photography; I have added one full manual focus lens to my arsenal. Using it is real fun.
Talkin about gear freaks.
Spot on. All the MILC pictures look plasticky or synthetic to me - never organic.
Very interesting video. I am mainly a Nikon shooter but I’m a fan of using older DSLRs. My favourite is my Nikon D3S (12MP), but I’ve tried some older Canon bodies too. I tried a 20 D belonging to a friend last year and was impressed. I currently have a 40D borrowed from that same friend, and I like that too.
In 2006 i bought the 5d and used it til 2012. My problem with the 5d was the tremendous banding, when i pushed the shadows in Lightroom. First i switched to Olympus, then to Sony - i would never go back to the 5d mk1.
That might have been a defect with that 5D. I do not see banding with mine, even when I push the exposure to the maximum 3EV. I have heard people with the 5D mk III report severe banding, but that should not happen with the classic or mk II.
I find it very hard to believe modern cameras cook the raw file to that extent and without a proper comparison i have no reason to believe your claims. Do not use adobe products or camera manufacturer software for creating a comparison, they are mysterious blackboxes that always cook the raw file before showing it to you and it is impossible to see the actual raw file, they will dynamically bias the image to make it look better and thus make for an inaccurate comparison. Instead use software that will allow you to disable almost every processing step like darktable.
Thank you for bringing my attention to darktable. I will try it out, downloading now. I have noticed that options such as automatic lens correction are the main culprits for baking in artifacts (that affects even ISO100). I have heard it as feedback from many professional photographers who said that they are returning to DSLR as cameras for taking photos for themselves as they take much more natural, less baked-in shots. (Although all of them reported that they are keeping the mirrorless for money making projects, as DSLR cannot compete with the speed and ease.) I have done a lot of M50mkII vs 20D/10D/5D comparisons myself, and my observation is that it is MUCH easier to nail a shot with the mirrorless, and most of the shots will be keepers, while with the DSLR only a fraction of the shots are keepers, so I am missing a LOT of moments. However, when I pool together the photos of both cameras of the same shots for a final tally of the 5 best shots of the two combined cameras, usually all 5 are DSLR. Mirrorless, how to say, lacks soul. Not always, and I always see unexpected positive results from mirrorless showing soul (aka superb, dense color information and 3d pop), but they are the exception.
Woah ,does 3d pop character come from lens.. Like Zeiss lens.. Flat' is lens trend today i Guess.. I also have saw some worse picture with 3 pop ,it look Like a two picture paste in A frame.. but paint picture by mirrorless camera is more interesting to me to discover ,thanks for this video,if it true every photographer should know this and Don't let camera manufacturer Lie to them..
There is a plethora of Sony Fanboys who love this efx, and I am going to say this. (BTW I am a cinematographer I have shot with pro-Sony cameras such as F5, Venice, FS700 etc) The sensors on the photo cameras are HORRENDOUS. The pictures look fake, the skin tones look plasticky and when it increases the ISO over 3200 it starts to paint the picture ALA Instagram filters. The reason more You tubers love the Sony's is simple, they can use the cameras without lights and push the files on Photoshop, but people had grown accustomed to filtering their skin, so Sony fits right in. The sensors in the photo cameras are not the sensors in the Cinema line. So what you are seeing is just that, the software "painting the picture" when it should be graining it if you will.
That's my second-hand impression of the Sony files available online as well... My photographer friend who has both Canon and Sony told me the same thing you did, that skin tones on the Sony are terrible, he wishes there was a camera that was like a Sony with Canon colors. He uses Sony for some of his filming works, but they strictly stick to Canon for pro photography.
I watched multiple videos. You got me thinking on some stuff. It trully looks like modern mirrorless cameras have more sharpness, probably digitally baked in, etc. On the other hand, I am not sure if dynamic range is always geting better the lower you are, maybe in one direction, like better shadows. I have a cinema camera from Black Magic and at 1000 iso I get better skyes and more details in the white areaa, while ar 100 better details in the shadows.
Very interesting! I have a Canon C100, which also works with higher ISOs like the Black Magic. Have not used it much, but I will look out for how DR / and highlights/shadows depend on the ISO.
I love taking wallpaper type of shoots (besides else), and I decided to go for 26MP Fujifilm X-S20. My target is to cover at least 5K screens, which would be 14,7MP if sensor had aspect 16:9 ratio. That means, at least 17.5MP are needed for 3:2 ratio sensor with width of at least 5120 pixels. I believe 5K screen will be mainstream soon. I'm already using 4K on a 27" work screen. And, 5K will probably be the (physical) limit for the level of detail, that human eye with normal vision can resolve when looking at 27" screen size from normal sitting distance. I'm glad Fujifilm didn't bump X-S20 to 40MP, because I don't and (probably) won't need that resolution, and it makes files much bigger (storage) and increases load on processor (battery life, buffer, performance, heating,...).
I think that's a great idea. The 5K screens are amazing, and I think there are no gains to increase resolution beyond that. They will soon become the standard displays, and be affordable.
Hello Janos I’m very much enjoying the series and your presentations. Would be good to hear more of your image critiquing of the 5d, 10d and other early Canon sensors. As you make the point, they really are still valid and often produce more natural and organic photos for a fraction of the money. All the best to you
Thank you, I will follow up on that! ;) I agree fully, they produce absolutely fantastic natural images at minimal cost. They require skills though, but I take that as a positive. I think they are cameras for those who know how to take a shot, and to take shots with great light. They are direct cameras: good photographer = good result. Great light = great result. Inexperienced photographer = poor result. Poor light = poor result...
My main take away from this series of videos is the importance of keeping the ISO down.
WOW, nice video. The title was kinda clickbait but I learnt something, defe gonna sub
Thank you! ; )
The problem is that image sensor 6 MP and display 6 MP. In displays you have three color informations (= dots) per pixel. In sensors, every pixel only receives one color information. One forth of the pixels are blue, another forth is red, and half is green. That means, all the color information gets interpolated so we get 6 MP. We basically need 4x the image sensor resolution per display resolution to get full real color information quantity-wise on our screens. In other words, we want to watch a chroma-wise perfectly sharp video on our TV device, we need video from a 8k camera. Though, it's easier to approximate luma information to the interpolated pixel number, which we grasp more clearly with our human eyes compared to chroma information. But there is still a reason why real monochrome image sensors can catch sharper pictures than color sensors. Every pixel in monochrome image sensors catches a luma information, while we have to combine several color informations to get a luma information. Luma information can be interpolated much more accurately and sharply compared to chroma information, but not at the level of a monochrome sensor. I'm sorry for being nerdy. Of course other aspects like lens and focus also heavily influences sharpness. You can also argue that a low resolution sensor makes focussing easier (you have to focus less precise) and also covers lens imperfections that are obvious at lower F numbers.
Yes, that is a real issue indeed. A "6MP" sensor is a 1.5MP blue, 1.5MP red, and 3MP green sensor... so, much less color info than luminosity, it works better for monochrome than color... no wonder the success of the Leica monochromes, which have true pixel per pixel counts. The Canon C100 has a 8MP sensor that they internally scale down to 2MP (1080p), so it has much better colors than the 2MP suggests. Surprisingly, the colors on this 6MP sensor are astonishingly good, I think the large pixels collect enough light to make rich color readout, even given the actual (pretty low) 1.5MP worth of color information. Given the 1.5MP is very close to the 2MP of a 1080p screen... probably that's why it works so well for viewing the images on 1080p.
I am not saying that the A7RV is not a thousand times more practical camera than the 10D. I only present DOCUMENTED MEASURED FACTS on SENSOR DATA. If you have a beef with measured data (presented here, I did not create it!), take it up with DxO.... I just present their measurements to you, have altered none, and I think I have presented it within its implications. If you think it's a direct attack on your ego (there are many more bellicose Sony shareholders than I thought) then please do not bother with flaming comments, I will ban you from the channel unceremoniously. This channel is Shutter and CHILL.... chill, my friend! And many thanks for all the SUPERB sensible comments and observations from the awesome grown-up viewers. Thank you my friends! This video sadly attracted a lot of negative attitude, I felt it necessary to moderate a little.
Let me translate for you, what you found out: What you found out is that IF you crop 61 Mpx photo and take and crop it to 6.52 Mpx which is little over 10% of it's resolution, then it will have slightly worse color rendition than 6.52 Mpx camera without the crop. So I don't know how did you fit word "Destroys" in here xD
Thank you for your kind comment. Anyway, I changed the title, was attracting too much riff-raff. I still do not get it how come people are so ignorant on how channels MUST give video titles to get any views at all... Do not blame me, blame the RUclips algorithm that kills every channel that names their videos with 100% accurate titles. I hope you noticed that what I said in the video had nothing to do with 10D destroying A7RV, just called attention to the fact that it does better at 3 DxO metrics out of 4 at all its working range. Nothing more, nothing less. Cheers, good luck on all your affairs, and I wish you to run into more sensible and practical people than I did with this video!
@@ShutterNChill yea i get you with yt needing click bait titties, but this was but too far fetched because his negligible the difference at the pixel lvl were, and title attracted mostly people that already knew it, and came kind of expecting this. You could go with something like "is this xx years old camera really better at pixel level that a7rV" you would attract people who don't know this and could maybe learn something. Probably less views but perhaps of the right kind of people for the channel. Anyway, best of luck to you
@@Deruzejaku I will go along those lines in the future. This was my first attempt at testing the waters. Everyone seems strained today. Probably big channels got where they were by banning angry commenters left and right. Anyway, as the channel name suggests, I will keep titles chill in the future.... not planning to grow channel anyway, more important to keep good company. Thank you for your helpful suggestion! Cheers, Janos
Because the Canon 10D's pixels are 4 times the size of the A7RV. The fact that the A7RV can provide similar performance per pixel with 4 times smaller pixels is due to the advancements we've made. You can make a comparison between the A7Siii and the 10D. There you should see the real advancements over the last 20 years.
A7sII Because the A7sIII is just pixel binning, 4 pixels to make one large pixel, it really has similar performance to A7sII in dynamic range and low light performance but the A7sIII has way better noise reduction, removing a lot of the ugly pink noise that was common on the A7sII at higher ISO's
Yes, thank you. That would be a more accurate comparison. For this video I just went by what is generally considered as the "latest & greatest" and compare to 20y old antideluvian technology. All A7S-es beat the 10D, so do the R3/R6/R8...
Thankyou for not showing any pictures.
The word he chooses sound to me bias.
imo empirical evidence is more useful than comparing 2 images with inherit bias
Coming on Monday
Good Info, thanks for getting so deep into it.
Staring at charts isn't going to get you anywhere. Although I've never used a 5Dc, I have used the 5Dii, and it stinks compared to more modern cameras in every regard. Even the 5Div beats it in dynamic range, color reproduction and low light performance, at least in my experience of owning these cameras. And modern mirrorless is even further beyond it.
Actually, modern full-frame cameras haven't significantly improved in color performance or dynamic range. If you're relying heavily on those few extra stops of dynamic range, you might be approaching your photography the wrong way. What has improved are the video capabilities and focus tracking. In other areas, the changes aren't as dramatic. For a real upgrade in photography, medium format cameras are the way to go.
@@bozoc2572 i can‘t speak to color, as I haven‘t tested that as much, but in terms of dynamic range there is well over a stop difference between the 5dii and the 5div, and another stop to the r5. Sensors have improved massively. Also it‘s not that I need extra dynamic range, but rather it occasionally lets me get photos that I couldn‘t get with less. Overall I never really liked the image of the 5dii. it looks weirdly muddy, as if you get noise in bright daylight
The 5Dii was not very good. It focused on video over stills quality. Why even comment if you haven’t used the original 5D? Why?
@@kevrosas1 what are you smoking? can i have some?
@@ChrisThe1I’ve used and owned both. You haven’t. The colours of 5Dii were trash compared to the original 5D. As I said and as it was designed - the 5Dii was focused on video, not stills.
Canon 5D is a Legend Camera, forever! I'm owner also 1Ds and 5D.
this is a very complicated subject that you can not just make generalizations about it . One of the most important things is the focusing system and camera like the D500 for SLR and Z9 for mirrorless will blow the Canon out of the water ...... there were also big issues with dynamic range being poor on the older Canon . The older Canon don't have eye focus so if you are using a wide f stop good luck nailing focus and if you miss focus on the eye forget about posting the image on line as you will be lambasted. There are other issues with older cameras such as how they reproduce magenta and purples - I can tell you - not well at all. The real test is printing images. There are issues with high iso images being noisy on old sensors . While I am not a mirrorless fanboy I can tell you the new Nikon Z f1.8 primes will blow the lens you are using out of the water. The big advantage is not the old sensor but the used large telephoto lenes that can be bought for great prices now that folks went mirrorless. There are better older cameras if you want a unique look such as the Sigma Foveon SD15 where you really are getting something unique.
one last thing - in the words of a professional photographer I know " test charts are for amateurs - pros never worry about them " .
No Janusz, przez ciebie żona mnie z domu wyrzuci z tymi aparatami😁
:) :) :) Same thing is happening to me!
Still love 5D MKI!
What about the D30? it is only 3mp
The jump from the D30 to the D60 was enormous. The D60 has twice the number of pixels, with almost the same noise and dynamic values. Such a leap has never been repeated in such a short time.
If the EOS R has the same sensor as the 5D, then the R is the supreme EOS
The EOS R uses the 5D mk4 sensor.
Synchronicity!
