Onewheel Hall Sensor Testing
This video shows how to test the hall sensors on a Onewheel Hypercore motor that came out of a XR+. I have converted this board to a VESC controller and TorquePack battery supply, but still have the original motor.
When I initially tried to do motor config, the VESC tool failed to discover the hall sensors on the motor. Initially I realized I had the foot pad and hall sensor pulgs reversed, but even after correcting this error the motor config failed.
I opened up the controller box, and tested each hall sensor at the Lil Focer circuit board, and one seemed to have failed. So I opened the motor and tested the hall sensors directly. I was really just trying to avoid removing the PCB and rep...

Opening Day for Great Falls Whitewater Park in South Carolina. The Paperclip featrue is 0.25 mi, with a long flat water paddle approach. This feature is in the Catawba River. Doe Gorge March 5, 2023. L Jackson Nirvana Visual Gauge was above 2 feet. USGS Gauge showed just over 700 cfs. Great volume. Not too pushy, not to bumpy.

Upper Doe River, 800ish cfs, June 2018. This is a river wide drop half way down the run, or so. Generally it can be run RR, or center. The center line is more of an S-turn move, RR line is straight through both drops. Good staging eddy above, and recovery pool below.

This is my run of Lava 2/20/2021. Self-support OC1 trip. Approx 11,000 cfs. The canoe is a Dagger Caption with a home-made spray deck. I self-rescued before the end of the rapid, which in the west is known as a Grand Canyon Combat Roll. Enjoy! :)
