I was lucky enough to have seen him several times, back in the 80's growing up in Boulder CO. There will never be another Stevie Ray. he could literally make his guitar talk, (Genius) I live in WI now and went to visit the crash site a few months ago with my son, it's only about an hour away from where I live. it was a sad reminder of what the world lost that day, August 1990 .

He made every song his own whether it was Albert Collins or Albert King. A deep soul . His use of effects like the Leslie or wah was never gimmickry - they were instruments unto themselves, integral parts of the song’s presentation. Evoking a lot of BB this set!

I just dont get it. He is a big yawn to me. I can't stand his voice, I can't stand their outfits and he has maybe 2 good songs.

Good job with the splice job (assuming you're the one that did it) of adding in a little bit more of footage at the beginning, from the Antone's DVD! I've always wanted to see the footage from this, since they threw interviews over top most of it, cause Stevie is on fire here!!!

I like the way he switches his SRV strat out for the white one after breaking a string and he doesn't even miss a note. Awesome!
