I've watched this man for a long time. But never saw the deeper story behind him. I'm glad I seen this and now This man is the reason I am going to go my first aa meeting after years of drug and alcohol abuse. I've been too embarrassed to reach out, I have saw these meetings listed before and have disregarded it. Everyone I know uses and abuses but it's a social norm where I am from. I'm involved in some heavy stuff, and I am paid in cocain. And it triggers a cycle of using alcohol and more. Non of my peers care, they are okay with there life involving all this but I was raised in a religious family , I was raised by good people who have always taught me to do right and it just feels wrong. I still try my best but I always end up loosing everyone in my life and everything. I've had more jobs than normal people have in several lifetimes. I've had more relationships than than king Henry had wives. And drugs ruined it all everytime. Now I'm at a point where I accepted it and I'm sniffing £300 worth a night.... drinking myselg to sleep, I'm not even working. I'm just involved. I'm only 25, I've been doing drugs heavily since 16 but started at 13. Damn, n I've been tryna stay away the whole time on my own. I have attempted on my life before and I won't again but just left me in a weird place. Where I'm. Just here Until I'm not. Theres so much more to say but ill end up going on forver. Anyways, God bless you all, I love you all, you're not alone. Im going to finally try reach out to these meetings allthough my anxiety doesnt want me to and has held me back for years so if i can take that chance. You can all do it with me. Anyone else suffering, ive got you, were in the together. Just searching for answers is the first step, shows weve not give up yet. And when we come back from this, damn. Aint nothing in life going to faze us.
