Overproduced & too polished to be thrash & too clean to be even metal. Ratt early stuff sounds heavier than this. The guitar "solo" is a complete nonsense.
I can tell you exactly how this band started out. The band's leader and lead guitar player Anthony Nichols and I went with our girlfriends to the rat in Boston a nightclub back in the good old days and saw this band Metallica just the four of us. I didn't like them Anthony loved them. I had a band called expose and rehearsed in the Boston music complex. Anthony rented out a little corner of the room and put this band together. 2 years later they had a record deal with Epic Records. Anthony Nichols or if anybody knows him or any of the guys from this band please tell Anthony Gregg is trying to reach him and is living in Arizona now. I remeber you guys saw you with, I think Gang green at sir morgans cove was like 86/87. I was in Sanguinary, we called it quits in 93 after multiple line changes, and no one was getting signed anymore cause of the GRUNGE era
I remember hearing Mike Jones on ERS interviewing Metallica after that show. The Boston Music Complex. Yes. Yes. Did your band open for Malice at Narcissus ? They shared a room. Damn. My band did that too. PINK played there too I think.... M.R was the talk of the town, when the got signed. Like how Wargasm did too.
