Tack för besöket idag!
Bra reportage! Vi ses imorgon Linus! Välkommen till USIF!
Jag tycker bollträffen hos spelaren på Andreas sida är alldeles för sen då han träffar bollen bakom kroppen.
Nadal is a sore loser.
Bra jobbat Oskar och Filip👍
Always my favourite player. Age takes its toll.😢 His English has got a lot better. You don't have to prove anything Rafah. ❤❤❤❤
Rafa is the legend not Arrogant Alcatraz
🐐
We love Rafa…win or lose. 💕
Let Rafa decide about his future. No one has any right to decide about his future irrespective of whether you are his fan or critic. Please remember this guy has built his career against the odds and has proved everyone wrong many times. Please do not teach him how to play on clay...
rafa only need play more matches...... then he will gain confidence
Quite simple he lost On to the next . What else they WAna know
38 years old. That is his enemy. Just enjoy his final tour guys. Its a privilege.
Actually he said he lost because he played bad and because he was tired 🙂
After all, it was a good week for Rafa. He was lucky with the draw. He could get Borges already in the first round.
😢 I wanted Nadal to win. Nothing against Borges and congrats but still.
Just making the final after barely playing in the past 2 years is encouraging. Stay strong Rafa, it will all click again!
His playing style is much more stamina oriented so age has finally caught him up It was Rafa so he delivered so much excellence over the years Otherwise these type of players could finish up early
Rafa got spanked in first round of Roland Garros never happened with the clay 🐐
Hope he retires on a high next year after winning his 14 FO and 23rd Grand Slam
One tennis fan's opinion: Rafa's serve needs to gain a bit more power. And perhaps he should stand closer to the baseline.
Just great that he reached the final. As usual, such humility and accepting that despite the lack of energy he should have played better. You are just exemplary Rafa
Thanks Rafa for keep trying and playing. You inspire us.
My heart went out to Nadal in the final. I think he played awesomely this week and given that he had a couple of very long matches and played every day - that in itself is a huge step forward from where he was a few months ago. Such a humble person. Nadal is very unforgiving on himself & will never make excuses for what he considers playing under par. To be fair - Borges fought a good fight for the win and Congratulations’ to him for that. I think we will see much more from him in the future. As for Rafa - he knows what he needs to do better and we all know that he will work hard to remedy that. Regardless of wins or losses - he is and always will be an absolute Legend of the sport. ❤
Hang up ya flaming racquets struth nadal
Rafa, the question is: have you stopped learning as a player, given your current circumstances??? you know, with a clarity beyond clear, that you cannot play a four-hour match and then hope to be as alert and energized in the next match. the goal therefore must be to keep points short and fast. and that means perhaps learning to anticipate and execute quick points at the net whenever the opportunity presents itself. you can no longer play the exact same game on clay when you were 19 years old. you are almost 20 years older. so, have you stopped learning? because if you have and insist on playing the same game over and over again, then you clearly have not understood that the game has moved on. the score would have been 6-0 6-0 with Alcaraz or Sinner; Borges is a reasonably good player, but he really is not in the uppermost levels of the game. and you lost to him because, in the previous match, you decided to play the same game. you have stopped learning. and therefore must seriously think about retiring.
He really need to fix his serve,he needs something different on that aspect of his game, that's the solution he needs,in his early 20's he didn't have to worry about his serve because of his defence and speed, but now his body can't handle anymore,38 years of age if you can't serve well to shorter the points it's over,Federer had to play aggressive changing tactics sharping his serve shorting the points to play at high level in his late 30's that was the key,Nadal and his team were always stubborn about changing ever since uncle Toni.
Yes, we talked enough about that 😅😅
As a nadal fan I see it as a big positive he got to the final. He has won Rolland garros before without getting to finals in3 set tournaments. Also he is not satisfied with his current level which is good to see.
So, what! Who cares?! NADAL NEVER EVER WON ATP FINALS, the season ending-championship over 17 years. And, Wimbledon only 2 x times. Australian Open only 2 x times. NADAL is the King od Doping! GREETINGS from Switzerland 🇨🇭 🇨🇭
@@SoftwareEngineering3000grow up
All the clowns that talk about nadal age, you have the loser mentality, that finds excuses instead of solutions, dont forget Nadal was supposed to be retired early like before his 30s due to his style of playing, yet here he was winning grand slams at 37, you can keep hating, that will not change anything regarding champions vs losers
Both him and Djokoic off to join Federer, Sinner and Alcaraz the new era.
Rafa has only his parents to blame for this loss, Mother nature and Father time.
He knows really well his body .If He cancelled his double with Casper Ruud there were alarming signs of lack of energy. I believe if He knew In the morning practice He will not be able to win and I saw in the second set He let it go to avoid injuries . In Olympics to play double and single will be very difficult . I am not sure He will not withdraw from double let see how his body recover this week?
We Are Back .... That's Great.
You Know The Drill Brother .... Improvise If Things Are Different. EverythinG Gets Back To Its Track ..... You're Back The Best ThinG .... See You In Paris ....🎉
Now expect Rafa to give another less than average performance at the Olympic, and maybe, just maybe after that it will dawn on him his time has come to retire , but I wouldn't hold my breath...
It is okay. He is not at his full potential.
This man at 38 with a grinding point by point game coming off of injuries got to a final on clay after a week of long matches . Nadal should be very encouraged maybe enough so he will hang around a little longer.
Nadal has always this expression of absolute bore for everything whilst during the matches he is the opposite. It's enervating.
Parabéns Nadal, vc é o melhor são 38 hj não tem que provar nada pra ninguém. Passei a gostar de tênis por sua causa. ❤
Rafa, congratulations on raising your ATP ranking up over 100 points in one week. you understand very well what level your body is at, and what level other players' tennis are at. I took a screen shot of you, and when you left the desk I felt a little sad. Thank you for loving the sport so much you keep fighting. You're an inspiration. Vamos.
True100%! Vamos Rafa!
Rafa es el mas grande. Pero su contrincanta ha sido mas fuerte hoy
This is actually great news that Nadal got to a final. This is part of his recovery after such a long period of not playing. He’ll be even better at the Olympics! He will be competitive at the US Open. You can never count Rafa out.
Hate to break it to ya, but he won't be competitive outside of a clay court anymore.
It will be very hard for him to be competitive on clay too. But we have heard that already. @@al1976-v7m
It seems to me that many times both Nadal's forehand and backhand often end up short, weak and high. If you play against a top fifteen it destroys you
And on top of that he's not serving well,he suffers because he depends too much of his 38 years old body,he can't handle long rallies anymore,he needs to shorter the points sharping his serve, otherwise it's over,he will only go so far because he will always fight with energy against him, either himself or young players.
not much to analyse, Rafa...you know better than anybody you don't move anywhere as well as you used to...there are other reasons but that's number one
I wish he would manage to reinvent himself, right now he plays the same style that he used during his peak. Fight fight fight. That’s too much for the body.
Fact is when you are passed your prime, you are just not as good as before.
JUST RETIRE ALREADY
The toll of being a parent of a small one. Life changes.
Djokovic has been playing very well in the last few years despite having had kids.
Very encouraging to hear him say his practices were much better than his match play. That means he's capable of more than we saw in Bastad - and that we can hope for more from him IF he can stay healthy and for as long as he wants to play. People who think that his relatively lackluster play this week tells us all we need to know about his prospects are not appreciating what it means to come off two years of injury recovery and negligible match play. If Rafa chooses to play on, and if his body holds up, even at 38 he might yet have some magical moments to deliver.
Difficult to play worse, and they say this guy is humble??? The interview is plenty of excuses in his only way of trying to look cool. He was overplayed, end of story!
