I can not believe you are tossing the airbrushes in there with the nozzles exposed. I literally flinched every time you did that. The nozzle is the most important and by far the easiest part to damage. Just pushing a needle into hard will flare out the tip, I can't imagine that every one of yours is not damaged. I hope they aren't, but its almost certain.
You can actually see in the video by zooming in that the nozzle is damaged. I'm not saying any of this to be an asshole, but just to let you know. By replacing that nozzle and probably needle at this point, it will spray like a completely different airbrush. You will probably not even recognize it at this point.
How did you get your dice roller to look like that in roll20?
You can make seperate windows and arrange them in OBS, the video is pretty old though Roll20 might have changed since then.
@@SMooreArtDesignI used your video and set up OBS last night for a session with my group… I had a map window and set up a secondary window for the “chat” where the rolls pop up.” That might just be how I have to do it 😂 Great video, and thanks for responding
@@DanArthurMMA01 Good stuff!
Excellent Work! Got the kit myself recently, too bad 4Ground is no more...
I know, I stocked up when they went out of business. Still have a bunch I need to put together.
Woohoo! Part 3!
Part 4 is recorded, I just need to edit. SO many cliffhangers!
Does Stars have as well-developed a setting as travelers third imperium, for example?
It does have a pretty developed universe, and there is a lot of source material, like if you want to run a naval campaign, or an espionage campaign, or a rogue trader game for instance. But Stars and Traveller both are great for that. Stars is a post apocalyptic setting though, something to keep in mind.
Does Stars have as well-developed a setting as travelers third imperium, for example?
I played a lot of Traveller back in the day… if I’m looking to run a similar type game, what would recommend stars over the current additions of traveler?
I really like both. I would say that it probably depends on what kind of game you're looking for. Obviously Traveller is levelless and skills based, and Stars has levels. I think if you want to run something more heroic, like a Guardians of The Galaxy style game Stars might be better. Like people can just choose to play a psychic character for instance, and combat is more similar to something like DnD. If your players are coming from DnD I think it's an easier sell and it will feel more familiar to them. If you have a group that wants more gritty, deadly combat, where it's a last resort, and they need to use all of their skills to get an advantage I would go with Traveller. They're both really great sci-fi systems and I would recommend picking up both honestly.
The wire box drawer system is so cool - I love transparent storage. Antonius was not available in my country, but the Jonaxel system is a very close dupe.
Yeah, I think they have some of the best designs for storage out there.
Great game, I look forward to seeing where this is headed!!
Just getting good!
Does curing resin underwater completely remove the stickiness?
Washing it in rubbing alcohol or degreaser get's rid of the stickiness. I've just noticed that the suring under water increases the fidelity of the prints. It might help with the stickiness too though.
thanks! nice job!!
One of our favorite games, playing Sunday!
Great book series... never thought about it as an rpg
We really like it, it's a lot of fun!
I found exactly the same location yesterday. I used to settle in Squin. But this location is even better cause you can farm everything. The only problem is, I now have a small team in Fog Islands that I need to get them out to join my other teams, one in Squin, one in Stack, and one in Blister Hill. I need to train up all my new recruits in Mongrel to 23 mph so that they can outrun other Fog princes. LOL It is now day 30 in my new start. I will settle there probably on day 40.
I looked the other day and I had almost 1,500 hours in Kenshi on Steam! Such a great game. I'm currently doing a playthough in fog islands. It's such a great spot.
@@SMooreArtDesign Fog Islands is a good training ground. There is so much action because of those silly and weak fogmen running around even close to the gate of Mogrel. I gained a ton of toughness and attack xp mining right in front of one of the gates. (There are fog princes running close to the gate at night which is kind of dangerous too) But I have already moved my 7 guys out so that I can build a temporary base in Squin to train up my crossbow skill before I move to the Holy Farm area for a permanent base. But before doing that I will send two guys to Black Desert City to get the ancient science and engineering books so that I can make crossbows and better turrets. I don't even need walls or gate to fight those silly Black Dragon Ninjas and Dust Bandits. The ninjas gave me a lot of toughness though. Our first fight was close enough. But I have about 20 guys in Squin and 4 bulls that can take a ton of damage. I still have 6 guys in Stack with an amor guy at level 82 armor making. He leveled to 70 just by making leather out of free bull skins. LOL I will recruit more from one of the Way Stations east of Squin and my favorite guy Sadneil from Black Desert City. Then I will recruit more in United Cities. This time I think I can build an army with about 50 guys to fight the Shek Kingdom. Believe it or not, I haven't encountered a beakthing yet. It is not worth my time. When I build a team of 12 archers all with50+ crossbows, the beakthing and the blood spiders are nothing anyway. My crossbow training has just begun. I have about 600 hours in this game. But I do a lot of research in this game. LOL
The one tier up had an extra core set. So an extra copy, one deluxe and one core.
I think I wanted all of the books, and this was the one that included everything. I didn't care about a GM screen or dice or minis, but it really is a beautiful box!
a few years ago I was admin of the lamentations of the flame princess discord. I had joined the Mothership discord and had spoken to the devs quite a bit, they seemed very nice. The girlfriend of Zak, a LotFP adventure writer, posted a huge allegation of physical, verbal, and sexual abuse against Zak. Immediately most of the OSR devs sided with the girlfriend and I said in the LotFP discord, not the mothership discord, “We need to hear both sides of the story before this turns into a witch hunt and Zak is wrongfully cancelled.” Well this exploded with negative reaction because most of the OSR devs follow the: BELIEVE ALL WOMEN! Mindset. I wasn’t saying she was lying I said we needed to be logical and get all the facts. The mods of the mothership discord went to other OSR discord I was in and tried to get me kicked out. I was banned from the mothership discord. To this day I have tried many times to talk with the seemingly friendly devs of Mothership and they wont let me. You either cancel what turned out to be an innocent man or you aren’t one of them. So, after Zak got proof that the girlfriend was lying nothing has changed. Zak is taking everyone to court that tried to cancel him. Most of those devs you’ve probably heard of. The dev of electric Bastionland, the dev of Gardens of Ynn, Mothership, and lots more. I don’t hate the mothership devs, but I’m a customer and was mistreated so every chance I get I warn people about these devs. I’d love to talk with the devs and put this behind us. I’d delete every post I made online, but I know they won’t talk to me. Maybe this new edition will sell enough copies to cover their legal fees when Zak takes them to court.
Dice right there in the middle of the page
Stat blocks are at the top of the entry page of the monster
Oh good, glad I just missed it and they are there.
Thank you for the video. I received my box the other day, too. This box set was really well done, and worth the wait.
Yeah, I'm really happy!
That art is beautiful! The ships & space stations remind me of designs in Cowboy Bebop. The fonts in the side adventures look like the fonts in Cowboy Bebop too. All it needs is a "It came from the fridge" mission. haha
I couldn't place it, I knew the art reminded me of something! You're right it does look like Cowboy Bebop!
Wow that Gm screen is packed!!!! Thanks for the video, Steve! Super excited thats its finally here!!!
Yeah finally!
Just got back home so watching the full rest of the unboxing now- great job, loving your insights into the system and included adventures.
@@mikem449 Pound of Flesh is so good!
If I minimize my "Record Window" and go move stuffs on my DM Window, I'm forced to go to the Record Window so everything can move, its like it only update when I open the window.
We started using Zoom to record faces and audio because it does a better job, but you can keep and instance of roll 20 going for gameplay. Zoom does a way way better job with audio though.
Hey mean beautiful job. Any Chance you could prove the name for the privateer paints you used? Especially the one you is to dry brush?
Yeah, the dry brush for the undercoat is P3 Menoth White Base, and Rucksack Tan for fur highlights.
Ocean shipping containers are 8 ft wide by 8.5 feet tall and either 20 or 40 ft long
Yeah, I just wanted them to fit in with my inch grid combinatorix terrain stuff. Basically 1 inch is 5 feet and everyhting I've made is some combination of inches so it fits together like Legos.
I deeply appreciate a deep dive into DG and your discussion of Barker. I have been a fan of Kult since about 1998 and it's very transparent that it's lore was highly influenced by Barker.
He is one of my all time favorite horror writers! I remember his stuff was just so different from what everyone else was doing in the 90's.
@@SMooreArtDesign I feel like he found a way to marry splatterpunk with an almost fantasy feel. Sort of a gory folk lore (sometimes gory theology).
Amazing video, nothing too over the top, and answered questions I didn't even know how to ask. Thank you so much!
Nice video. Thanks
They came out looking great, some of my favorite monster minis!
Curing for 45 minutes?! Whaaaat?! Is it legal? Doesn't this make them brittle?!
No, not in my experience, they're actually really tough!
Traveler was an absolute blast to play back in the day. It was harder to get many people to play it though, compared to D&D.
I'm sure that's still true, but it does have a loyal following!
Hey all my friends are here, miss playing with you all.
Have to play when you're back! Hope you're having an amazing experience over there though!
Could you use acetone to clean
You can, just make sure that you take out any little rubber gaskets or plastic seals because there are some inside of it. Acetone melts acrylic paint but it also melts plastic and rubber.
fyi, chat gpt knows the rules and can make stat blocks for GMs really well, i have been building my first campaign using Chat gpt and the only thing i have left to do really is mess with Sectors and factions.. then i will be done.
Yeah, I have my own "book" built in Notion so I can pull everything up at a glance. I've been using ChatGPT to write adventures too. It's an amazing tool!
great ideia!
It works!

Thank you for sharing! Tbis is the exact topic im stumped with right now and was begging tbe cosmos an actual architect could help illuminate it for me. I CANNOT build from scratch and wont steal other peoples work without their permission but not having a house to olay with keeps me from playing tne whole dang game.
Good to see another basement walkout fan! I struggled with it for a long time too.
Interesting video so far, I'm not going to be able to finish it tonight although I do have some personal disagreements with using ai. But I'm interested in learning more.
Yeah, I think in this case though it's just a tool for writers to help get the ball rolling, it's great for organization and generating ideas.
Nice video Steve
Thanks man!
Yooooo
This video isn't very engaging, monotone delivery and misses the mark on the setting

10/10. I cleaned my airbrush with your video.
Good to hear!
Some realy cool models man!
Thanks!
Nice commentary. But there’s an entire chapter dedicated to “Space Magic.”
I forgot about that. I still feel like SWN is much better suited to something like The Expanse or Firefly campaign wise than something like Star Wars, but it's pretty modular, like you could darw on the new book Cities Without Number for cyberpunk flavor.
For people who know video games I like to compare it to Mass Effect
I think that's a good comparison, but throw in some postapocalyptic vibes!@@thorongil9
Man, I'm going to become your evangelist. This is excellent guidance, from providing a free AI plateform to explaining how you've come to use it. Outstanding. Anyone who asks me about AI art, I'll send them your way. Some comstructive cristicism, I would work on decreasing filler words like "um". They make you sound less confident, even though you clearly have great info to share. I'd recommend making a secomd iteration of this w/ less "stuttering" words. It almost got me to click off before setring playback to 2x speed. Just some tips, but don't be discouraged. Your content is great, just have to polish presentation a bit. Great camera angle & audio too. 👍
Glad it was helpful!
Really helpful, thanks!
Glad it helps!
You did great, looks killer.
Thanks!
I think it would be a cool design for Star Wars SW5e, like the interior of a ship.
Yeah, for sure. Floor tiles are underrated, I like implied walls or half walls because they don't get in the way of things.
This is amazing. Notion is so sick!
I literally use it every day.
