Minox b picture taking tutorial- Aiden Serratoni
This is awesome! Well done! Strangely, I found your channel by looking for videos about the Polaroid Land Camera Model 95. The camera was my dad’s and it’s been sitting an a bookshelf in my house for decades. I decided I wanted to learn how to use it and found your video about it from six years ago. Then I ended up here. By coincidence, I’m in a moderately successful cover band based in Seattle that actually plays this song. And I’ve performed with Dave Dederer from the Presidents of the United States of America, and I see you cover that band in a different video. Anyway, super cool. You’re clearly very talented. Rock on!
I just found myself a perfect condition camera today and I have film on the way I'm so excited I came across this ❤
I'll need some of that film
Killer

For the last time - it's "Clap", not "The Clap".
You have a Leica?! Nice.
Nice music and thanks for the help with my Kodak Brownie.
smart young man, this is way b4 my time but they are cool....what a bunch of work to take one pic! ha
I remember when these cameras were new. I can still recall the smell of that picture coating.
Do you have any idea of the approximate value of that camera at that time?
can you use a flash with the polaroid
Does the camera use a battery
Nice intro btw
This is so cool
Cant understand the dislikes. This video was really informative.
But where is the shutter? You have all these complex things but don't explain the most important concept...How do you take the picture!
This is a kid taking the time to demonstrate a camera to us with no benefit to himself. Dude did a great job. Calm down and don't leave these comments on a child's video who is doing their best. If you don't like go research it yourself and make your own video.
@@AdamWelch I'm sorry, I didn't know it was a child. With that said, the fact that I thought it was an adult making the video is a compliment to the youngster.
Thats not a child. Its just a dwarf with a very gentle voice.🤨
Really great!!
Very nice video
I just found this in my dad’s collection, so I decided to look it up. And I’m so happy that I found a kid around my age that is so technologically advanced in this kind of stuff like me
3:50 oh my god that made me cringe. Don't close it by forcing it, if you gotta use both arms and force it against your chest, you're doing it wrong. It's made to lock in place there, simply have the lense facing upwards (as you did) and take 2 fingers on each side and press those arms downwards (the ones that hinge on the front door that hides the lense, and also hinge at the camera base, they ride to the left of the camera as you close the door) and then it softly releases and you may close the door. Without doing this, you're probably bending stuff until it releases that simple mechanism.
Shut up dude!!!! He’s just a kid!!!! Leave a comment constructively!!!!!
@@ilmwemo bro how is that not constructive? He literally gave step by step instructions on how to do it correctly and he was never disrespectful. If anything it shows how passionate he is about these things and just wants the kid to know the best possible way to handle such a delicate, vintage camera
@@ilmwemo he just told him how to do it without being unrespectful wtf
thanks for this, i asked my grandpa if he had any old cameras and my family has been trying for an hour to close this damn thing. turns out one of the arms needed a little oiling
@@breloomie np!

Bro this is fuckin sick!!! 🔥
Thanks for showing
Yes
Fantastic!!!
what kind of film does this camera take?
Rollfilm model 40 which was discontinued in 1992 so good luck finding it
@Daniel Presnell does it work though?
What about the emulsion?
Ah the old brief case camera. My parents were so proud of this when I was a kid.
Next, time get some, fresh film Plus, a flash gun, to go on, your Camera.
The freshest film for this camera expired 30 years ago lol
Very nice pictures! It is cool to see the retro feel in the new pics taken with an old camera. Do you develop the film yourself as well?
This is pretty good footage. Nothing like the look of film.
Hello! Thank you so much for this video! I am fact checking a book currently and this video was extremely helpful. Thank you for making it!
Great musicianship, you play with confidence lots of potential with superb power.👏👏🔥🔥
Hi there, I just got one of these and wondered if you know what kind of film works with it? was super 8 by companies like Kodak universal for super 8mm cameras?
Absolutely, any super 8mm film should work just fine with this camera, regardless of the manufacturer
love the content! I just bought one of these to add to my collection!
I personally love these cameras my grandfather had this same camera unfortunately it got thrown away years ago so I just got the same camera just to have it trying to get the film and can't find it
Financially shooting silent 8 or Super 8 does not make sense ! However to shoot just one or two does for the experience of knowing the difference when having only 3 1/2 minutes at your disposal, then after that to project it in a good projector at a reasonable distance only and even experience editing if you are ready for it. Film scratches don’thave to be part of the experience if you use common sense when handling it. Camcorders are terrific but real film is real “Cinematography” ! I still enjoy projecting my 8 and Super 8’s but your friends may not want to see them ! Be prepared ! Do it for yourself !!!!.
I feel it
Excellent! Keep up the good work! :)
The testing footage is actually good, it produces the nostagic touch. I liked.
fucking awesome dude!
Get aidenrolled.
Thanks for making this video, and glad there was ONE shot that had enough chemical to give you an image! I just bought one of these cameras ($30) and a pack of color film ($10), but I have NO expectation that the film will work!
There is something deeply attractive about these slightly less than present day quality black and white images taken on this wonderful camera! They immediately conjure up a form of weird glamour of a time gone by and of espionage (which was no doubt not not at all glamourous unless in a Spy Film!). I own a black bodied Minox C in near mint condition but have never use it as I have no other equipment to process film etc. However, I am now after a good condition B model and will try to get stuck into taking photos and playing around with getting them processed (Poss. by M.S. Hobbies first). They are so brilliantly designed and made that they are just wonderful items to own. Thanks for posting.
Holy Crap! I don't know how you did it but its amazing! Damn good job, and mixing some of my 2 favorite songs? Really creative and really good execution! Y'all are great players!
its really cool to see the change from reviewing brownie cameras, to making great music!
Where did you buy the film?
eBay
That's actually a lot better than I'd have thought the footage would look. I've had one of these cameras for years, but have never gotten around to trying it out.
How much money do these go for
2000
Most is 28000
@@lifehack5433 Wait really $2000 for like a brand new one, I saw some on ebay for like $50 though.
@@lifehack5433 Not true, they go for 20 to 100.
You can pick a camera up on ebay for about 10 bucks...some really good in shape are about 20... Never did find film for it
Hey Aiden this is amazing! Nice work! 😀
Keep up the good work 👍🏽
