Just an old canoe fisherman that has found freedom kayak fishing.
I target freshwater bass, panfish, stripers, catfish, walleye (in Georgia), and most any other species that offer a challenge. I've started adding some saltwater adventures into my bucket list.

My buddy Hop and I came across a log blocking the Etowah River. He went first and did a log walk to get his kayak over the log. I don't have the same balance. I paddled hard to get half way over then moved to the forward half of the kayak and did the old dog butt scoot.

While on a musky adventure on the James River, our guide gave my buddy and myself a lesson on the musky tagging program in Virginia. These tags and the data that is recorded my guides and volunteers help the Department of Wildlife monitor the growth rate and travel of these awesome fish.

Hero Hill Climb 2024 sponsored by Mission 22, to remember and honor those service members that lost the battle with darkness. Over 200 hikers, bikers, and runners did the 6 mile round trip at Camp Frank D. Merrell, Dahlonega, Georgia. Even a driving rainstorm couldn't stop these volunteers. I was proud to walk in this 2nd annual event.
