Description The TH 400 needed a shift so trans go to the rescue
Is This work done to fix the Transmisión hesitation??
In a rush to get it done. 😁
It depends if it different transmission
My tcm assembly doesnt have those hose with the seals
did I miss why the 4 grooves were cut into the spring retainer? thanks
Super bad design why not just have it sealed off solid
Hey any chance you can share where you got the kit from? I have a 2013 with the same issue and would rather repair it than buy the whole valve.
One of the best videos I've ever watched on RUclips!
Great vid thanks for the lesson and sharing knowledge wisc I could meet u someday and shake your hand not enough people like you in the world tks bro carry on
Great job explaining this. Thanks
You're hands are in the way.
Hey mate. I have a 2007 WM Holden Caprice V8 with a 6L80 transmission. Been told the TCM is faulty. Has only 1 forward gear and reverse. Will this repair fix my TCM.
What are the parts and tools you used ?
shift kit lol
i am installing a corvette servo but no shit kit should i still grind the 4 slots?
Poor video, can't see what's going on and you're breathing awful hard.
Thank you
Thanks a lot this gave me an idea how to do it myself.
Hi robert where can i buy those repairs kits thank you
Oh , how come you didn’t use a paper clip like the instructions tell you? Lol
I have a 10 acadia and I did this to my tcm do I have to use a scan tool to rest anything it has a shutter sometimes when the traney lugs
I got a 2003 Ford explorer. P0733. Slips in third. What do you think?
Definitely sounds like what's going on with my traverse. I think I'm gonna try it myself. Just curious, how much would you charge for this job? Great video
Hello.... I have a chevy Silverado 2012 with 187K. My 4L60E shifts fine without any slippage in 1st & 2nd gear. But when shifting into 3rd gear I have total slippage. When I let off the accelerator and the RPM falls to where 3rd gear let go, then it takes 3rd gear and will pull without any slippage. But after 3rd gear does energizes, I either do not have over drive or forth gear, I can't tell which one I do not have. Where do I go from here. Thank you. Frank.
All i saw was ur ✋️s
So, you can’t replace the solenoids in these?
Thank you for a great video
Hi..i have buy a corvette servo end a superior blue ruturn spring..where goes this spring?
Why are there Drilled holes on the drums band apply surface
If 3rd and 4th dont engage and transbonly goes into second will this servo be the fix?
Is there anyway this can cause a loss of 2nd and 4th gear? I have a brand new transmission and less than 1000 miles. Got hot on me while pulling an empty trailer. Pulled over to let it cool and have had no 2nd or 4th since.
Blocking the camera should be avoided when making a video.
The camera was too close you was off camera on some of the shots 🤔
Hey, not to be a flip ass, but great video of your Hand ! I know this is older video but maybe reposition ur camera next time. You do give good info. I'm rebuilding my 4l60E, doing the same parts ur on in video. Using a Z-pack also. Thanks it's a good video
You are great at explaining WHY things need to be a certain way. thats real important, thanks man.
pounding is not part of an assembly video.
I’m looking for the inch and a half seal I found in the pan that now won’t let me shift into second and third. Grrrr
From where did you buy this kit and what is name of this kit or part. Your video is very helpful same issue I have with my gmc acadia 2008 but I don't find this kit put link in subscription from where can be order these part
I am struggling to understand how much the big cushion spring behind the cover in the 2nd piston affects both 2nd gear and 3rd gear engagement. I have put in the HD 2-3 Valve, a corvette servo, and I think I am going to block the 3-2 valves. It seems logical to grind the notches in the cover, but will this make my 3rd gear excessively firm? Or, how would making the springs in this location stiffer or softer affect both shifts?
PREACH pilgrim PREACH👍🏻 This video should be mandatory in all ASE classes.🇺🇸👍🏻🏁
Is this the same TCM, that’s in my 2011 Buick enclave ?
You basically know what needs done but the CheapSeat view of small parts doesn’t help. Basically, I watched a video of you doing something. Maybe change camera location? A second camera? Oh, what was the Symptom the customer experienced? What did the damaged something cause? Keep trying! Thanks
Where did you get the kit from ? That would help a lot if you can put it in the description
Would have been nice to know what tool you were using or is that a specialty tool rather than just putting it directly into the unit without showing the tool you were using or was it something that you prefab?
On that of the spring cage clamp
I'm sorry, but this video just shows him doing it, not how its done, can't believe l wasted time viewing this.
should there be and gap in between the servo pin and small spring and washer that sits under the C clip.. mine has around 40 thousandths gap. thanks
How to change the bulb
Aloha Robert. I’m taking on the task of rebuilding my own 47RH. These videos are awesome and helpful! The main question I got for you thou is. What do you use personably and in your shop for cleaning the cases. Most of these water based cleaners are not good for aluminum. Any thoughts. 🤙🤙
Hello if a Corvette servo pin is installed with the junior kit,is necessary to put the spacer washer?
You use the cast overrun piston from a 96 or older when you install the sonnex reinforcement sleeve, as for the cut seal thats the fault of the assembler.
