KMI Dos Hundo - larger prop pitch

6s 2200kv, 100a esc Today’s test was with a higher pitch. Went from 4.75x4.75 to 4.75x5.5. Still tested rock solid. Seemed a bit slower than expected but have to measure the original maiden to see the diff. I did try a 5.5x8 however that ended in a disaster. Ha ha. About 1’ into the ground. Prop didn’t seat properly but still sent it and it came off in flight. Will try again with adjustments.

It’s been a long trial but we are there. Just a few things to button up as far as support. For me the canardless way is my choice. I knew it would fly (even though it didn’t land) because the canards are the current issue. I will have to think about what to do with them. Maybe they end up just add-on when sitting on a shelf. Ha ha.

KMi PEA6 is flying great. Has a very short take off need with a longer front LG stem. Things to note on this; it will get up in the air quicker but you should allow a few seconds to gain speed, or slowly turn. Turning to quick will cause a tip stall and fail miserably. Dual 50mm edf 4s 2200mah There are 2 flights here. One with a keel and hi-start and one with fixed landing gear. As you can see from the hi-start it was a success! Hi, i like your videos, i will tell you the problem, i had the same problem, the problem is that ducted fan produces rotated air flow and this make aircraf unstable, the part after the ducted fan which is for direct the air flow is not enough, put a + shape part just behind ducted fan about 3-4 cm long, this will direct the air flow and solve your problem... Please do this and give us a good flight 😊

Needs more stability perhaps try decreasing the pitch rate so that it is more stable and doesn't lose flow over the wings and lose control

The pylons are designed for speed. So far I’ve only gotten to about 160mph with them. I have to buy a different power setup to get there. Even at 160 they show no sign of fault. If you do pick one up and put in power to hit 200mph let’s talk because i need to know what you did for power. Ha ha.

U have lack of tail wing . So the air is unstable over the main delta . Hence U get squarely actions make Ur tail wings taller and it will work out . Also look at wing flaps maybe adjust them also .. impressive I love the reversed wings delta look .

Might need some kind of rudimentary suspension setup? It seems to be bouncing and skittering a lot so maybe even some rubber tires (o-rings?), to help smooth it out long enough to get up to speed? Failing that, make an RC car launch platform and have someone else drive that so you can get enough initial speed?
The nose wheel needs to be stabalized. It shoudl be fixed in this next, totally redesigned, model

Not on this model. There is no chance with the way electronics need to be setup. I wanted to do it but the "scale" position of the main vtol is right above the battery.
Looks good. Try moving your main landing gear forward closer to the CG.
Moved 80mm forward. Made a big different, but the "linkage" in the nose wheel needs to be stabalized. New, totally redesigned, model coming out. Added stabalization to the nose wheel and moved over to dual nose wheel setup
