I noticed that about the animation too. In seasons 13-present the animation went back to normal. The characters move normally in most scenes and they save the crazy expressions for special moments.

The "probe" punch line at the end of the episode made me laugh pretty hard.

I always found this episode creepy as kid. I used to be interested in horror when i was kid but was still terrified. Seeing this realistic horror image of (Nosferatu) shook me lol its almost the uncanny valley element of it all. Its a great way to introduce horror to younger audiences without it being too graphic. They made something that would stick with all who watched it for sure. Very clever.
