@@dudeguy8686 I just used them as a way to push my editing skills forward. I still edit a lot but its mostly shorter mep parts that arent released yet or on other channels. Longer edits take wayyyy too long now with how I edit

@@ZAGON117 Fair, i can see them being a great tool to hone those skills. Fitting the right track to the right scene is definitely an art that takes mastery, and loads of time. Sounds like consistent solid steps towards that goal.

@@dudeguy8686 again, should check out my latest one. I blast it out of the water with the compositing. its so clean. I edit as my job so these side projects are great because its like a checkpoint for my progress. always satisfying to look back at growth

just happy to celebrate all the rwby amvs this community has made and the path my editing has taken. such a long ride and Im still just getting started. cant say how long Ill wait to upload again but expect it to be even better next time xD

Like all the text in the video are presets of my own making so its just sweet to see it all combine like this. I certainly aimed for the rwby volume 1-3 amv range, the prime paper range I think

Idk how much Ive said it, but most of the masking is done by davinci resolve. I just do not have time to do the masks. Leaves me to spend my time on building the effects instead of clicking around a character for 10 hours. As for me editing in the future, no clue. I only make amvs when inspired to do so. More likely Ill just make another channel to edit different kinds of videos

its a gatcha game, for the most part I never play it anymore but I will argue that the game has fun combat and is a good place to sink some hours. Just dont expect endgame. As for the edit, well, slowly I am reaching a point I am happy with. I am trying to channel some fabvl music video energy into them. Very happy with how I no longer need to preview the text cuz I just know how to form it now based on keyframes alone. understanding that has been hell for me xDD Mate, its always good to hear you enjoy an edit. Started editing due to your kickass rwby amvs years ago. how time has passed.
