Зашла после первого просмотра "Огнем и мечом", решила посмотреть из-за Домогарова, хоть и знала, что он отрицательный персонаж. Возлюбленный Хелены конечно красавчик, но как-то с первых кадров симпатия все равно перешла к Богуну...Возможно Яна недостаточно раскрыли, но больше чувств было от Богуна, и хоть он и вспыльчивый убийца, однако впечатления от его героя остались долгим послевкусием после просмотра. А это видео выше похвал, песня идеально отражает палитру чувств героя, как мне кажется, только горит он не от похоти, а от любви.. И все равно ловлю себя на мысли, что приукрасила в голове Богуна, не читала книгу, поэтому не могу разделить непонимание со стороны части аудитории. Все равно оправдываю Богуна за убийство ее "семьи", которой было плевать на ее счастье, и верю, что саму Хелену он любил до смерти, поэтому когда она его благословляет в путь находясь в плену, кажется она уже поменяла к нему свое отношение. И особенно в последней сцене, где она выходит вперед Яна и как-будто что-то хочет сказать... может остановить, задержать...Мне нравится думать, что она все прочитала в его взгляде...Любовь, мука, поражение...И почувствовала горечь, от того, что она отдана теперь другому, который в нее влюблен, но не живет любовью к ней, не живет ею...

Kurcze! To jest takie sexy!

As much as I like the movie, I've never understood why everyone's head-over-heels over Helena. She's not really what I'd call gorgeous (she's slightly attractive most of the time & somewhat attractive in select scenes) and she isn't exactly charismatic or particularly pleasant to be around (she's mostly passive throughout the whole movie, unless I'm misremembering - it's been years since I've seen it). In some scenes she looks fairly young and vibrant, but in others it seems like she's past her prime. Sure, she is a princess and that counts for quite a lot in Jan's case, but there are probably plenty of better options out there for Bohun. As a matter of fact, Bohun is _much_ better looking then her and, being a Cossack, doesn't have to concern himself with rank nearly as much as Jan has to (though, as far as I remember, the movie doesn't make that much of a fuss about her being a princess in relation to her desirability). Maybe its her piety and purity? Those used to be considered highly important and attractive traits - I might even agree regarding purity. Perhaps the book does a better job at justifying both of the men's obsession with her, but in the movie she was by far the least interesting character. PS: Zagłoba best character.
